Key Account Executive - Digital Partner Commerce/Sales Excellence

Position Summary

The DPC/Sales Excellence Executive will work within an integrated and dedicated Key Account POD (reporting to the Sales Director) that manages an important part of the business in the EMEA region.

The DPC/Sales Excellence Executive is responsible to drive the implementation of innovative solutions, developed by the EMEA DPC function, to improve our online business performance with our defined wholesale partners within the Key Account POD in EMEA.

At the same time, they will support the Sales Director to implement new Sales Excellence processes for the whole POD/Cluster and to drive improvements in operational excellence, change management and sales enablement.

The DPC/Sales Excellence Executive maintains and expands relationships with important and POD relevant customers as well as internal EMEA functions/departments and is responsible for achieving specific sales (DPC/Sales Excellence) targets and assigned key account objectives.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Digital Partner Commerce related topics:

  • Drive the digital agenda in alignment with the Regional Lead and DPC Manager across the KA POD to increase digital knowledge and experience.

  • Be the key contact of the KA POD for the EMEA digital team, work cross-functionally to develop and drive best-in-class efficiencies for the key account portfolio.

  • Be the expert for the key account team on all measures to improve digital sales - support the team with trainings, insights, and best practices.

  • Identify focus accounts based on digital potential/opportunities and build relationship with key internal and external partners. Lead the digital acceleration of those key account partners.

  • Analyze and monitor consumer demand, category trends and the defined key account digital assortments as well as site content to be able to identify opportunities to help accelerate our brand visibility.


Sales Excellence related topics:

  • Support the Director Sales to drive the development and execution of the Sales Excellence agenda and Sales team effectiveness processes and tools in alignment with the regional strategy.

  • Identify areas to improve key account processes, with focus on preparation/implementation and tracking of account plans.

  • Support with change management efforts around sales capabilities and culture.

  • Support Director Sales in strategic projects related to Sales Excellence strategy.

  • Improve GTM preparation process and touchpoints for the Key Account POD to work more efficient and aligned between the different accounts/market needs.

  • Work closely with the dedicated KA POD team (all functions) to ensure that service requirements are understood and implemented in line with our POD strategy.

  • Coordinate the wider involvement of company teammates to meet account Sales Excellence objectives as well as customers’ expectations.

Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)


 Include but are not limited to the following:

  • Strategic understanding as well as understanding of retail math and financially astute

  • Experience working with digital metrics and a history of leveraging these to increase sales performance.

  • Excellent Excel spreadsheet skills with an analytical mind coupled with the ability to interpret data and make recommendations based on their analysis.

  • PowerPoint presentation skills and the ability to deliver strong presentations to groups (1:1 and large groups)

  • Able to demonstrate strong negotiation skills

  • Strong Interpersonal skills & demonstrable track record of good relationship building

  • Ability to work cross-functionally with other areas of the business such as marketing, customer service & logistics.

  • Fluent in English

Education And / Or Experience

 Include but are not limited to the following:

  • Master's degree with 5 years or more of related business experience

  • Digital Account Management/Ecommerce experience (national or international) from within the Sporting Goods industry

  • The ideal candidate should demonstrate a track record of achievement and progression through the levels of sales excellence environment
