Position Summary

Under Armour is looking for a Marketplaces Operations Professional for our growing European Digital Revenue business. The Marketplaces Operations Professional is responsible to innovate how Under Armour operates in the ever-changing online marketplaces environment through development and implementation of new capabilities in partnership with accounts, Under Armour Digital Revenue and our supply chain teams.
This role will focus on operating the rapidly growing daily business of selling Under Armour gear on different marketplaces (including but not limited to Zalando, JD Sports and About You). The Marketplaces Operations Professional will be the contact for the operational counterpart at the various marketplaces and will work closely together with logistics, e-commerce and customer service teams. Responsibilities will vary from activating product, improving product content, monitoring and acting on issues in the daily order flow. This position requires a motivated team player part of a proactive, responsive and customer focused team. The right candidate knows about logistical processes and possesses problem-solving skills, strong product feed understanding and the ability to identify issues and improve operational excellence.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

•    Build a relationship with the operational department of the marketplace accounts
•    Read and react to business on a daily basis aiming for the catalog optimization including but not limited to implementing changes to product titles, descriptions, pricing. 
•    Support the flow of products (content, images, copy, etc.)  to external marketplaces through the enterprise system, including item set up, inclusive of images, copy and other content.
•    Develop and manage timely and proactive response and/or resolution processes with logistics around marketplace issues.
•    Develop and manage timely and proactive response and/or resolution processes with customer service around marketplace issues.
•    Improve current and implement new and optimized operational processes for efficient channel management.


Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)

••    Strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate findings to all levels and to translate results into future actions to improve the business.
•    Results oriented with strong planning, prioritization, problem solving and decision-making, organizational and time-management skills. Works well under pressure and delivers on commitments.
•    Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and working together with internal and external stakeholders.
•    Ability to set up new and optimized operational processes for efficient channel management 
•    Ability to clearly and effectively communicate goals and objectives; including level of responsibility, decision making authority, tools and resources, and deadlines.
•    Experience reviewing and analyzing sales and performing calculations such as retail margin, growth rate, percent change, etc.
•    Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously; working together with internal and external stakeholders.
•    Strong understanding of the job functions and possesses the knowledge and skills required to perform the required job functions.
•    Knowledge of the European Sporting Goods Landscape, especially Pure Player and Multi-Channel Retailer.

Education And / Or Experience

  •     Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and/or Supply Chain.
    •    1-2 years of ecommerce experience in direct marketplace management including Zalando and Amazon.
    •    1-2 years of experience with marketplace engines (Tradebyte, Anatwine).
    •    Proficiency in using Excel, MS Word, Windows, Power Point; Experience with SAP a plus.
    •    The right candidate has impeccable planning skills and is has experience within an ecommerce environment. 
    •    Excellent skills in working together with both internal and external partners.
    •    Strong communicator and team player.
    •    Fluency in English is required (another European language is preferred but not essential).
