Purpose of Role

Under Armour is looking for an Omni Channel Senior Planner focused on Accessories to join its Planning team based in Baltimore. 

This role is responsible for developing and executing seasonal plans for both inline accessories as well as external licensee product. This work will enable the Digital and Brand House businesses to meet seasonal sales & inventory objectives while ensuring GTM strategies come to life at retail and online.  
The Senior Planner - Accessories will work cross-functionally with key partners in merchandising, product and planning to enhance the business performance of our direct-to-consumer channels.
 

Your Impact

•    Partner with merchandising & licensee teams to influence long and short-term sales and inventory plans by DTC channel that support the long-term strategic growth plan for the region.
•    Partner with DTC, Merchandising, Retail Allocations, VM and Marketing leadership to develop pre-season and in-season strategies to include merchandise assortments, segmentation, promotions, markdowns, and returns to optimize business results.
•    Set & track performance against the line architecture and assortment targets that yields productivity while still offering premium brand expression & driving revenue and margin targets 
•    Participate in monthly OTB meetings with the team, utilizing DTC KPI’s to identify opportunities and risks to the financial target and brand positioning.
•    Communicate potential target adjustment opportunities as they arise
•    Drive stabilization of the Sales Plans from pass to pass
•    Support the global end to end planning system implementation project.
 

Qualifications

•    2+ years of experience in Sales Planning, Merchandising, or Demand Planning.  
•    Strong business acumen specific to Retail Sales, Margin, Inventory & Service and key KPIs.
•    Ability to build cross-functional relationships through strong communication and interpersonal skills. 
•    Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, and work as part of a team.
•    Proven ability to think critically, problem solve, analyze needs, and offer solutions.
•    Demonstrated ability to manage to tight deadlines and deliver results.
•    Advanced Excel skills required,
•    Experience with Tableau reporting,
•    Experience with external licensee partners – managing external relations and multiple go-to-market calendars.
•    Both retail B&M as well as digital planning proficiency.
•    Bachelor’s Degree from a 4-year university, with focus on Merchandising, Planning, or related field.
•    Planning system experience preferred (Blue Yonder)

Workplace Location

  • Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our Baltimore, Maryland Corporate office.
  • Return to Work Designation: 3 days week in-office, the remainder of work week remote. 
  • Travel: Less than 5% of the year

Base Compensation

 $82,734.00 - $113,759.80 USD

Most new hires fall within this range and have the opportunity to earn more over time. Initial placement within the salary range, however, is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills and experience for the position.
