Position Summary

This role will support our Direct to Consumer (DTC) partners in identifying opportunities to improve the Athlete experience through faster service and improved visibility while being responsible for managing costs to budget.  They will run point on identifying opportunities to improve these and work with cross functional teams from eCommerce, Retail, IT, Procurement, Finance, Operations & the DH.  They will also identify future vendors for UA to partner with who can help UA achieve key metrics in the DTC space. Position can be based in Baltimore, MD; Nashville, TN; and Rialto, CA.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

⦁    Analyze cost and service metrics to provide guidance to eCommerce and Retail teams around opportunities for improved athlete experience
⦁    Identify vendors to partner with who will bring unique solutions to improve cost, service and visibility to our athletes
⦁    Lead peak planning initiatives by working with sales & ops to provide forecasts, service mix and expectations.  Manage click to home expectations and hold carriers accountable for on-time metrics.  Develop and execute strategy to support retail pack & hold project.
⦁    Partner with procurement to negotiate and analyze potential transportation contracts.  
⦁    Lead all IT implementations related to transportation, lead test scripts, testing scenarios and identify bugs prior to go-live (Hold At Location, Time In Transit, Rate Shopping, FTZ, Loyalty)
⦁    Develop best in class dashboards and reporting to allow leaders to make more informed decisions

Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)

⦁    Manage end to end processes from order creation through final delivery to customer.  
⦁    This role would modify/improve and potentially develop new procedures.  Challenges would be well defined and related to key metrics
⦁    Role interacts with Supply Chain Ops, Account Services, Sales Operations, Distribution, Finance, DTC teams (eCommerce, Retail), Sustainability, Accounting, Compliance, Retail Marketing, Customer Service, IT and Sales within UA.
⦁    Outside of UA they interact with transportation providers, technology solution providers, freight auditors, consultants and all key customers.
⦁    This role would be responsible for sharing information primarily with situations both reflecting shared interests (externally) and opposing (internally)

Education And / Or Experience

⦁    Bachelor’s degree
⦁    2 Years’ experience
⦁    Leadership/Managing
