Position Summary

Under Armour needs an allocation expert in the Direct-to-Consumer Retail Division.  The Allocation Analyst for Factory House, Womens will be given a rare opportunity to lead and be a part of a rapidly growing brand and division.  Passion, desire and integrity are traits we look for in our teammates.  You will play a key role in leading the in-season responsibility for store inventory levels and maintaining in-stock by article/color/size on-hand in Brand House stores.  The Allocation Analyst is responsible for the appropriate product distribution in Retail stores in order to maximize sales potential and increase inventory productivity.


This individual is a key strategic partner of Channel Merchants, Channel Planners, Store Operations and Distribution/Logistics Partners collaborating to develop and execute a profitable allocation plan to drive the business sales and margin plan while supporting the brand vision in stores.  This individual is critical to delivering revenue for the Americas.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

•    Allocate new product assortments utilizing merchandise plans and product strategies.
•    Manage replenishment to stores to maintain appropriate stock to sales ratio.
•    Create, run and maintain various weekly reports to help understand and drive the business.
•    Analyze and react to selling, manage-up findings and propose plan of action.
•    Make weekly call-outs regarding inventory levels at the store and in the DH and partner with team on out of stocks.
•    Monitor delivery of inbound product to the DH and communicate issues that will impact floor sets.
•    Analysis size selling on an appropriate cadence to facilitate buy process and store allocation scales.
•    Travel to stores to review floor sets, build store relationships, and increase awareness of specific store businesses.
•    Produce ad-hoc reports as needed to support business requests.
•    Manage Allocation of opening assortment as well as replenishment to new stores, monitoring performance and taking appropriate actions to support their business.
•    Recommend improvements in Allocation processes, reports and tools.

Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)

•    Experience in apparel and/or footwear industry preferred.
•    Advanced computer skills - Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Access).
•    Must have a strong ability to communicate and build effective cross-functional relationships.
•    Must have a strong sense of urgency.
•    Solid retail math acumen, including elements of inventory productivity measures.
•    Proficiency at analyzing and interpreting large amounts of data; with the ability to synthesize information and translate into effective and actionable insights.
•    Ability to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously, utilize resources effectively and drive themselves and their team for results in a fast paced, growth environment.
•    Strong knowledge and experience of the problem solving process and its application in addressing critical business issues. 
•    Established ability to build and maintain effective working relationships to drive collaboration, teamwork and business results.
•    Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to tailor message to all levels in the business.
•    JDA/BY Allocation experience a plus

Education And / Or Experience

  • •    Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Finance, Mathematics or other relevant field.
    •    Previous experience in an Allocation or analytical role preferred.
    •    Experience in apparel and/or footwear industry preferred.
    •    Proficiency in analyzing/interpreting large amounts of data and synthesize into effective and actionable insights. 
    •    Ability to clearly and concisely identify and summarize complex problems or issues, identify, implement and hindsight solutions.
    •    Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and to deliver results within timelines.
    •    Strong business acumen specific to Revenue, Margin, Service & Inventory.
    •    Ability to build cross-functional relationships through strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    •    Ability to be a part of a team, set challenging standards, develop strong partnerships, and lead others to action.

Other Requirements

•    Some travel may be required up to 10%
