The Rookie Program

Do you have what it takes to make an impact?!  Join the Under Armour Rookie (internship) Program: 

  • Start date 2nd of September ‘24 until 31st of January ‘25


In order to be eligible for an internship you must be: 

  •     Enrolled in a study for the entire duration of the program (full 5 months) AND be an EU citizen passport holder OR a Non-EU Citizen studying in the Netherlands.

Purpose of Role

You might be asking yourself what exactly it is our HR Operations (HR OPS) team is doing?  The team plays a key role in supporting the EMEA HR department and our regional teammates by acting as first point of contact and resolution of their queries and performing administrative functions across their employment lifecycle. The role forms a critical part of the EMEA HR team by being the main point of contact for teammates, with focus on country ownership as well as SME (Subject Matter Expert) for defined processes and projects. 

You’ll be supporting and establishing all-rounded and sustainable processes which aims to elevate further our HR Operations Philosophy in the region. The scope of this role will also involve cross functional collaboration and exposure to the HR Team within Under Armour

Your Impact

  • Drive the HR OPS projects assigned to you – Focus will be on creating and improving processes (Teammate and/or HR team facing) 
  • Create an easy-to-use Payroll guide template that will be used as our future standard document for all countries  
  • Review and create communication templates & planning
  • Collaborate with Payroll and Benefits to understand their needs relative to HR Ops 


You are:

  • a Self-starter - hands-on, proactive, resourceful, and willing to go the extra mile
  • a Team player with a strong bias to action
  • comfortable with ambiguity and able to prioritize


You have: 

  • experience with MS Office with an emphasis on Excel and Word
  • attention to detail and creative thinking
  • strong project management skills 
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and preferred any other European languages

Education and Experience

  • You are currently on track in your Bachelor or Master-studies in Business Administration, Psychology or Human Resources
