Position Summary

The Lead of Onsite Marketing is responsible for marketing strategy and execution for all marketing related activity within the Direct-to-Consumer Ecommerce channel in EMEA. The teammate in this role will support the development of and lead the execution for integrated marketing plans, seasonal strategies, content delivery and activation plans across UA.com.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Own the development & execution of seasonal integrated marketing plans for UA.com, ensuring perfect representation of seasonal campaigns/initiatives on UA.com, that connect to regional category & global strategies, ultimately, to deliver revenue goals and channel KPIs
  • Work closely with channel merchandising to influence seasonal go-to-market strategies at early stage to deliver clear directives for commercial storytelling & prioritization to functional counterparts (specifically, Ecommerce Content Ops and Performance Marketing teams)
  • Partner with EMEA Category Marketing Teams & Global Channel teams to consult on seasonal briefs, ensuring Ecommerce POV is reflected, and channel needs are accounted for
  • Support strategic brief development for both global-lead and regional/channel-lead initiatives, with clear channel inputs ensuring perfect representation of seasonal campaigns on UA.com
  • Drive seasonal and in-season content briefing which may require- creative briefs, copy briefs, supporting photoshoot briefs & sample procurement
  • Work closely with regional category marketing team, merchandising, Content Ops, Performance Marketing, CRM, and creative teams to ensure seasonal strategies are executed
  • Supervise agencies to ensure perfect execution of ecomm content briefs and timely delivery
  • Leverage Content Ops & Analytics partners to drive seasonal hindsighting and deliver clear insights for future planning of content needs of the channel
  • Drive in-season optimization needs to ensure channel is delivering on positioning and KPIs, which include but are not limited to: quarterly site planning, weekly business needs, promotional strategies, cultural/sport moment activations in channel

Education And / Or Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant marketing experience in a fast-paced, product-oriented, consumer-driven company
  • Build marketing strategies tied to a business plans (long and short-term)
  • Ecommerce and/or digital experience required, DTC retail experience a plus
  • Strong Product Marketing

  • Previous experience at Sports Company or retail environment is a plus
