Position Summary

The Vendor Management Lead is responsible for developing and managing a best in class vendor pool to support Under Armour’ s physical space expansion plans in the EMEA region. The Vendor Management Lead is the primary contact for the Retail Design & Development team’s vendor/procurement related topics; developing & managing the vendors/consultants to support EMEA store opening program for long term success.  Lead works with EMEA & Global cross functional partners for vendor support & improvements, ensuring compliance with UA policies and run compliant tender processes. Lead also manages & improves the EMEA Fixture supply chain introducing new vendors, working closely with Regional/Global Vendors; also creates/improves fixture forecasting; logistics & warehousing processes

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Acts a primary lead & contact for any RDD vendor related issues 

  • Develops and manages a pool of global/regional vendors, contractors and consultants to support the long-term strategy of RDD and the EMEA business.

  • Initiates Quarterly Business Reviews with all preferred UA RDD suppliers and consultants, gathers feedback and follows up on actions to improve vendors performance.

  • Works closely with cross functional partners in EMEA and Global (Global Procurement, EMEA Supply Chain, Global/EMEA Legal Counsel, EMEA Finance & Accounting) to guarantee continuity in vendor support, further elevate this and make sure it follows all relevant UA policies.

  • Develops processes and tools for the RDD team to run compliant tender processes and supports the execution of this.

  • Manages and further improves the EMEA fixture supply chain with Global and Regional vendors, including forecasting, logistics and warehousing.

  • Manages the EMEA RDD warehouse and fixture inventory

  • Influences global procurement strategies to make sure EMEA needs are met

  • Act as an active part of the Retail Design & Development Team & supports any other projects/initiatives where necessary. 

Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)

Technical Attributes of Ideal Candidate: include but are not limited to the following:

  • University degree in Business Administration, Procurement, Supply Chain, Construction or other relevant subject

  • 8 + years of relevant experience in a Retail Design & Development procurement, vendor management role for an international retailer

  • Proficiency in Ms Office including Ms Project;

  • Fluent in English,

  • Strong negotiation skills

  • Strong Analytical & Problem-Solving Ability

  • Strong cross functional communication skills
