Position Summary

Our products have a compelling story to tell, and EMEA Merchandising is the conduit that translates and delivers our story and product with integrity and impact across all sales channels.
Under Armour is seeking a Channel Merchandiser to support the Merchandising team for the EMEA region. The Channel Merchant will be a key member of the merchandising function reporting into the Senior Manager of Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) Merchandising. They will be the merchandiser responsible for the Marketplace (Partner Program) business in EMEA.  They will use a balance of art and science to structure assortments for profitable and sustainable growth for the region.  Core responsibilities include seasonal assortment building, sell-out and sell-in analysis, in-season adjustment to changes in the consumer demand, competitive landscape analysis, and identifying future season opportunities.  
The ideal candidate will be a clear communicator and strong operator with a minimum of 2+ years of experience in merchandising for digital or online marketplace accounts. The individual will likely have experience in a well-regarded consumer products company and a professional / personal involvement with both apparel and footwear.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

•    Create consumer centric assortments for the Marketplace accounts in partnership with the Wholesale side of the account, if applicable.
•    Support the full Go-to-Market process for the Marketplace channel with the support of the Senior Manager of DTC.
•    Connect product, brand, and sport moments to create authentic, powerful and consistent engagement with the target consumer throughout the season.
•    Communicate assortment direction and how it supports EMEA’s long term strategy.
•    Work in collaboration with the POD across commercial, planning, and marketing to build strong relationships to support the business throughout the season. 
•    Own analyzing sales trends and competitive landscape to generate recommendations for strategic action to meet performance objectives and the right consumer expectations.
•    Leverage consumer insights to drive meaningful conversations with other partners and to identify incremental opportunities.
•    Think strategically and present ideas on how to continue to evolve and improve processes.

•    Knowledge of European Markets with specific focus on Northern Europe ideally attained through living/working in Europe.
•    Ability to work in an international environment with a clear understanding of cultural differences.
•    Proven quantitative capabilities to assess data, identify trends, and define actions to drive results.
•    Ability to self-start and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
•    Ability to establish an independent view while effectively collaborating in decision-making forums.
•    Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills.
•    Fluent in English.

Education And / Or Experience

•    University degree
•    2+ years of merchandising and/or product management experience, primarily gained in non-US markets, preferably within the sports apparel, footwear or accessory industry
