Purpose of Role
This role leads the overall Merchandising function for the EMEA region (FY25 $1.1M). This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for developing the Merchandising and Pricing strategy for EMEA, in-line with the Global and EMEA strategic guidance. This role is responsible for executing dynamic seasonal assortments through the Go-To-Market (GTM) process that meet the needs of the vast consumer base in EMEA while enabling the region to meet its sales objectives in a profitable manner.
Your Impact
- Responsible for ensuring the EMEA assortment is consumer centric through the effective use of consumer and market insights to deliver the UA business strategy and drive profitable growth in sales and margin.
- Define and develop the formal merchandising and pricing strategy to deliver a consistent and premium Brand experience to the target consumer.
- Define and drive a segmentation strategy that meets the complexity of the region and the requirements of the channel to connect to the consumer and maximize the revenue opportunities.
- Partner and influence to drive action with EMEA Commercial, Planning, and Marketing functions to land both Brand and Commercial stories across all channels in an engaging and premium way to the consumer.
- Lead all category discussions for the region with Global Product throughout the GTM process to ensure successful alignment and implementation of key strategies.
- Drive consumer and market driven insights through the GTM milestones to input comprehensive product concept requirements to the global functions which meets the needs of the EMEA target consumer by region.
- Define and drive the strategic price positioning and initial ticket price for the full assortment across all currencies in the EMEA marketplace inclusive of the strategic analysis and modeling to all critical off price commercial moments in the DTC channel.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or master’s in relevant experience field
- 10-15 years of relevant experience leading a Merchandising team
- Fluent in English, ideally conversational in another European language.
- Superior presentation skills.
- Demonstrate excellent people leader skills.
Workplace Location
- Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our Amsterdam office.
- Work Schedule: Starting in October, teammates are required to work on-site for 3 days per week. This will increase to 4 days per week beginning January 2026.
- Travel: 30-50% of the year
