Position Summary

The company was founded on a product that differentiated Under Armour from the rest of the performance brands. As a part of the product and merchandising team, you can solve athlete needs and help make all athletes better. This role is responsible for entering and maintaining data across merchandising systems.  This must be done accurately and in an organized manner so that it is actionable information for the company.  It requires collaboration with product and planning teams as well as regional and cross-functional partners.  In addition, this role is responsible for supporting their division by helping execute their merchandising strategy, providing business & competitor analysis, and supporting team deliverables including, but not limited to line architecture, life cycles, merch boards, color briefs and GTM tools.   Assistant Merchants own the data for between 1500-3000 skus.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Data management of product data in merchandising systems
  • Support global merchandising team execution & learn fundamentals of merchandising
  • Business Analysis (internal/competitors) and reporting
  • Contribute to merchandising team ideation and strategic planning; assist in execution tactics.
  • Provide support for the merchandising team during major milestone meetings  
  • Develop deep knowledge of the merchandising process by establishing yourself as a resource to all partners within the Global and Regional Merchandising organizations
  • Consistently seek out ways to improve product and merchandising processes and communication tools

Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)

  • Ability to prioritize and execute across categories and functions
  • Clear, concise, professional and organized written and oral communication skills as this role will have ongoing interaction with multiple points of contact
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; experience in excel and PPT
  • Experience within product management systems or digital merchandising tools is a plus

Education And / Or Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 2+ years of related experience
  • Relevant internship experience will be considered

Other Requirements

  • Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our global headquarters in Baltimore, MD.
  • Return To Work Designation: 2 days a week in-office, the remainder of work week remote.
  • Travel:  IE- 5-10% of the year
  • Licenses/Certifications: N/A

Relocation

  • $59,970.00-$82,458.00

Most new hires fall within this range and have the opportunity to earn more over time. Initial placement within the salary range, however, is based on an individual’s relevant knowledge, skills and experience for the position.
