Purpose of Role

Under Armour needs a Professional, Product Creation Operations who can help drive strategic optimizations and seasonal execution of the various Apparel & Accessories processes.  In order to achieve the mission, this teammate will need to develop a detailed knowledge of the product processes and calendars, an understanding of what metrics are available (or need to be developed) to bring visibility to execution and potential issues, and a strong cross-functional network to understand how teams are experiencing the calendar and effectively manage change.
 

Your Impact

  • Assist in building the seasonal product creation calendars for the Apparel & Accessories product teams
  • Help lead Design operation focused projects, including seasonal workload capacity reporting
  • Constantly look for ways to refine and optimize processes by gathering teammate feedback through surveys & after-action reports
  • Run weekly status meetings with the Product, Design and Supply Chain teams alerting them to key upcoming calendar dates and new / updated processes
  • Be the headlights.  Ensure information and upcoming steps are understood and actionable by the teams. Work across the functions to coordinate detailed activity (steps between the steps)
  • Partner with Operations Analytics to monitor and manage the execution of the seasonal calendars bringing performance visibility in an actionable form to the product teams
  • Develop a calendar training tool to educate teammates on the new operational headlines for each season

  • 2-3 years working in retail, footwear and apparel industry
  • Preferred experience in an internal or external consulting role within the footwear and apparel industry and working in an operations role
  • Deep understanding of product creation (materials/ color, design, development, sourcing, costing) processes, trends and strategies
  • Understanding of current industry trends in digital product and product lifecycle management
  • Understanding of how different product strategies contribute to overall business models in footwear and apparel
  • Understanding of how product creation fits within the broader eco-system of an organization, particularly the intersection points with Line Planning, Merchandising, Supply & Demand Planning, Sourcing and Manufacturing

Workplace Location

  • Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our Baltimore, MD office.
  • Return to Work Designation: Three (3) days week in-office, the remainder of work week remote.

Base Compensation

 $68,470.00 - $94,146.80 USD

Most new hires fall within this range and have the opportunity to earn more over time. Initial placement within the salary range, however, is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills and experience for the position.
