Purpose of Role

The Senior Financial Analyst, Supply Chain will be a key member of our team by supporting our Global Supply Chain Functions. This position will work closely with teammates at all levels, including Executive Leadership.

Your Impact

• Develop & maintain planning/forecasting process on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis for Global Supply Chain, including partnership with operational partners to monitor functional spend

• Support and participate in the monthly financial statement close process for the Global Supply Chain, ensuring that all financial transactions are recorded accurately and timely as well as analyzing and reviewing financial statements and variances.

• Willingness to challenge status quo processes and desire to implement process improvements by providing lean ideas, enforcing an environment with uncompromising controls and improve quality.

• Analyze drivers of month-end variances vs. budgets and drive accountability around cost saving initiatives.

• Leverage financial systems to consolidate, create and distribute timely reporting of performance against forecast

• Work with business unit leaders and their teams to provide ad hoc support relative to key initiatives

• Perform accounting functions as assigned, including, but not limited to, reviewing of financial information, preparing, and posting journal entries, and preparing account reconciliations

• Build and maintain strong partnerships with the leaders and teams of the business units supported

Qualifications

 

• Exceptional critical thinking and analytical skills including a solid understanding of financial and accounting concepts. .

• Ability to effectively articulate ideas, results of financial analysis, and actionable recommendations.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong team player with demonstrated ability to influence others and prioritize projects.

• Ability to work independently and identify information and/or resources needed to complete assignments.

• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced / growth environment.

 

Education and/or Experience:

• BA/BS Degree – Accounting, Finance, or other related degree

• 2-4 years of experience in FP&A or Accounting.

 

Other Requirements:

• SAP financial systems preferred or familiarity with other corporate financial accounting systems

 

Workplace Location

  • Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our Baltimore, MD office.
  • Work Schedule: 4 days per week in office, the remaining day working from home

Base Compensation

 

 $81,956.80 - $112,690.60 USD

Most new hires fall within this range and have the opportunity to earn more over time. Initial placement within the salary range, however, is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills and experience for the position.
