Purpose of Role
The ECI Consignment Retail Manager drives the profitability of the stores within their area of responsibility. This role is responsible for achieving sales targets, operational excellence and managing resources within stores to provide customers with a leading shopping experience
Your Impact
Sales
- Establish and execute a comprehensive strategic plan to achieve planned sales and KPIs
- Analyze reporting and daily sales trends to make real-time strategic and tactical business decisions to drive results
- Drive the business through customer service, inventory control, and store environment
Brand Image & Customer Experience
- Act as the leader on duty and model the brand’s Athlete service standards and selling behaviors
- Build loyalty through in-store experience, data capture, and other omni-channel solutions
- Build strong relationship between the brand and ECI store management
Retail Operations
- Be part of the team that handles merchandising, marketing campaigns and replenishment.
- Creating the specific ECI store audit compliance and shrink results are meeting company loss prevention standards
- Create and schedule the staff to achieve store coverage & sales targets
- Partner with Store Responsible on performance management tools and business strategy
Leadership & Team Collaboration/Management
- Ensure team excellence through comprehensive training. From client-facing sales fundamentals and product knowledge to seasonal collections. And the effective use of internal tools and ECI. Communicate expectations for achieving brand performance, and behavior standards
- Build relationships with teammates, leadership and ECI retail management team to implement positive changes
- Conduct Store Weekly leadership meetings and empower leaders to hold sales plans and qualitative KPIs.
- Manage store census targets to support optimal staffing for performance, partnering with talent team to recruit, hire, develop and retain high performing store team
- Mentor the store leadership team in the completion of Division of Responsibilities to develop future leaders
- Provide performance insights to Store Responsible through ongoing feedback and formal reviews
- Monitor output of direct reports across stores and completion of daily responsibilities

Collaborate with the Store Responsible and connect with the Wholesale Manager to resolve teammate challenges

Support the Store Managers in the annual review process for teammates
- Engage in compensation decisions with the Wholesale Manager
Qualifications & Requirements
- Expert-level knowledge in retail industry and ECI
- Minimum 6 years of experience in a sports/apparel & footwear retail environment
- Minimum 3 years of retail leadership experience in ECI consignment
- Fluency in local language and English
- Basic knowledge of employment laws including compliance with federal, state, and local requirements
- Strong communication, presentation, delegation, and follow-up skills as well as customer service focus
- Robust prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving & planning skills
- Demonstrated ability to analyze business trends and report to drive sales
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
- Demonstrated proficiency in sales generation, training, and leading functional teams

Base Compensation
€51,208.35-€64,010.44 EUR
Most new hires fall within this range and have the opportunity to earn more over time. Initial placement within the salary range, however, is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills and experience for the position. UA is committed to helping our teammates succeed and advance in their careers. Base salary is only one component of our competitive Total Rewards package.
