Purpose of Role
At UA, we strive to make data-informed decisions by sharing actionable insights, developing scalable reporting solutions, and leveraging strategic analysis. The Sr. Professional, Retail Inventory Operations plays a key role in delivering high-quality reporting and analytics that guide corporate and field leadership decisions. There is a heavy focus on retail inventory operations in this role so retail and/inventory control experience is strongly encouraged. This position requires strong analytical rigor, technical proficiency, and the ability to translate complex data into clear, compelling recommendations for stakeholders. The Sr. Professional, Retail Inventory Operations must thrive in a fast-paced environment and have strong communication skills as the will be a key partner to Allocations, Field Leadership, Loss Prevention, Accounting and Enterprise Data Management teams.
Your Impact
• Serve as the reporting subject matter expert by educating oneself on key data inputs, models, and KPIs.
• Own product intake for any new reports or integrations including defining business requirements.
• Build, maintain, and streamline reporting practices, including the development of interactive dashboards that provide real-time visibility into performance.
• Conduct ad hoc and deep-dive analyses to address business needs, translating data from multiple sources into clear, strategic recommendations.
• Design and optimize analytics processes to deliver actionable insights that enhance revenue, margin, and operational performance.
• Build a framework for analyzing and identifying anomalies in store shrink adjustments.
• Partner with loss prevention, accounting, and internal controls to develop monitoring and correction actions to mitigate financial risk around inventory adjustments.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Operations, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in retail, business analytics, or operations with exposure to analyzing data and synthesizing findings into actionable business insights.
Technical Skills
• Strong technical skills with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Snowflake, etc.) for dashboards and reporting
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, macros, data modeling)
• Familiarity with ERP systems or demand planning-systems (SAP, IBP, Oracle, etc.)

• Strong ability to design, maintain, and optimize reporting and dashboards; skilled at working with large datasets while ensuring accuracy and data integrity.
• Effective communication skills with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
• Proactively identifies opportunities to improve processes and address business needs.
• Results-driven with strong analytical, organizational, and detail-oriented skills
• Ability to simplify and streamline complex work processes.
• Flexible team player who can prioritize and manage multiple projects concurrently.
Workplace Location
- Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our Baltimore office.
- Work Schedule:This role follows a hybrid work schedule, requiring 4 days in-office.
Base Compensation
$77,591.60 - $106,688.45 USD
Most new hires fall within this range and have the opportunity to earn more over time. Initial placement within the salary range, however, is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills and experience for the position. UA is committed to helping our teammates succeed and advance in their careers. Base salary is only one component of our competitive Total Rewards package.
