Purpose of Role

The Coordinator, Purchasing will manage Purchase Requisition / Purchase Order creation for all Rialto Distribution House Purchasing. The Associate will be responsible for communicating with Under Armour’s supplier portfolio to ensure timely receipt of PO’s, timely receipt of invoices, and reconciliation of any invoicing errors. The Associate will also be responsible for maintaining a dataset of all Under Armour renewals, updating term start / term end dates, costs, and respective PO #’s. In this capacity, the Associate will manage proactive notification to UA teammates when a product is nearing expiration, and will work with suppliers to negotiate renewals or terminations as applicable. The role will rely on heavy attention to detail, strong communication skills, and strong Microsoft Excel skills (including mastery of Excel Pivot Tables, V-Lookups, and some Macro capabilities).  

Your Impact

  • The Associate will be managing tactical aspects of the Procurement process for the purchase goods and services, and will be tasked with independently managing a database. 
  • Creativity and Innovation- this role will be following designated purchasing practices, and will be tasked with negotiating with suppliers to avoid annual cost increases, cost of living adjustments, consumer price index increases.
  • The Associate will be directly communicating with UA teammates across all levels, and will be representing Under Armour when contacting UA suppliers to renew services / products. The Associate should have a high level of professionalism + strong communication skills.

 

Qualifications

  • Typically requires 2 - 4 years of prior relevant experience with a high school diploma.
  • Microsoft Excel, Strong communication skills

 

Workplace Location

  • Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our Rialto, CA office.
  • Return to Work Designation: 3X  days week in-office, the remainder of work week remote.

Base Compensation

 

$23.57-$32.40/HR USD

Most new hires fall within this range and have the opportunity to earn more over time. Initial placement within the salary range, however, is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills and experience for the position.
