Position Summary

As a Distribution House Facilities Teammate you will will work with the Maintenance and Facilities team in all aspects of the ongoing operations for the Distribution House. They will assist in all aspects of the Maintenance department projects as well as maintaining the upkeep of the DH. This role shares in the responsibility of supporting and assisting the Maintenance and Facilities team to ensure that all tasks and projects are completed efficiently and effectively. Accountability for the routine maintenance including trouble-shooting electrical controls, ensuring proper functionality of all systems, and upholding the safety of all machines. This involves contributing to a safety culture and demonstrating Under Armour’s Core Competencies.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)

May include, but are not limited to, the following: • Maintains a clean and safe work environment and reports any unsafe working conditions or equipment. • Use personal protective equipment correctly such as safety glasses and vinyl gloves • Paint walls, barricades, handrails and other assorted equipment throughout the facility • Perform building repairs such as replace locks on doors, lights fixtures, minor wall and floor damage • Perform minor plumbing repairs • Operate power tools for repairs such as leaky toilets, replacing/securing guard & safety rails • Operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE) such as a hand truck forklift and/or pallet truck to transport deliveries and move equipment • Remove any and all debris from sidewalks, walkways, parking lots and common areas including trash, wood, snow, plastic, paper, using blowers, shovels and or chemicals • Coordinate fleet repairs • Determine parts requirements and availability. Retrieve parts, maintain parts/stock area and submit requests for reorder. Determine reasonable substitutions for parts unavailable • Perform routine maintenance of systems based on machine preventative maintenance (PM) requirements • Ensure and repair that all safety systems are functioning properly on all machines • Use two-way radio to communicate maintenance and facilities needs • Assist Maintenance Mechanic with the repair and maintenance of all types of conveyor including, motors, reducers, sorters, sensors and all other components used in the assigned area. • Assist Maintenance Mechanic and Electrician to trouble-shoot electrical controls (motor circuits, process or packaging machinery, and programmable controllers) using drawings, documentation, and required tools.

Education And / Or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; 6 months warehouse experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in basic construction (framing, sheetrock, window/door installation, remodel/rebuild) • Familiar with basic electrical systems (swap out light fixtures) • Advanced painting abilities Computer Skills • PC experience; MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc). Other Skills • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment. Language Skills • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
