Purpose of Role

The Accounting Intern role offer candidates real life experience on how MNC operates. The candidate will be rotated across accounting function to gain exposure & valuable insights from experience team workers. Hand-on guidance on system software would also be shared to prepare candidates for their future employment.

We will prioritize candidates who can dedicate themselves to a full-time 6-month internship.

Your Impact

• Help managers complete daily tasks (e.g. verification, checks & reconciliation)
• Understand each function’s Record-to-Report (R2R), Procure-to-Pay (P2P) & Order-to-Cash (O2C) daily processes and goals.
• Provide administrative support (e.g. data entry).
• Get familiar with personnel duties.
• Participate in month-end closing activities.
• Ensure sub-ledgers reconcile to general ledger.
• Adhere to policies and procedures for proper internal control.
• Ensure that processing and execution of all transactions are in line with the company's policies.

What Exposures Will You Gain by the End of the Internship?

• Exposure to AR, AP, GL and improvement projects.
• Ability to understand and gain hands-on experience to the different accounting functions and perspectives.
• A very supportive and collaborative work environment to learn.

Who Are We Looking For?

• Preferably bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or any related field.
• A keen learner who is detail-oriented, resourceful & driven.
• Understands the need for ownership and possesses a sense of urgency with strong follow-up skills and the ability to work with tight deadlines.
• Able to work with a team/independently where needed.
• Willing to listen, to include and to respect the beliefs of teammates.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, with a focus on Excel.

• Return To Work Designation: Hybrid work arrangement permits working from home on Mondays and Fridays, with flexibility subject to company requirements.
