Purpose of Role
The Finance Manager will oversee the accounting function in the region, ensuring that financial and accounting data is accurate and correctly recorded in the general ledgers. He/she will be responsible for ensuring that all financial records are in line with both internal and external regulations. This role will also be involved in system and process planning and implementation.
Your Impact
- Oversee full set of accounts and supervise Accounting team’s daily work.
- Perform accounting analysis and maintain detailed listings of all the contents of all balance sheet accounts, including bank reconciliations.
- Maintain general ledgers accounts for both local statutory requirements & US GAAP
- Assist and ensure Monthly, Quarterly and Year-End account closing are completed on time
- Liaise with external parties i.e auditor, tax, secretarial, bankers and respective authorities on accounting, tax and transfer pricing matters
- Implement policies and procedures for proper internal controls as per requirements in the SAPAC region
- Represent the Accounting team in project planning and roll-out in SAPAC
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business and/or CPA with minimum 8 years of related working experience
- Accounting management experience, preferably in an international high-volume processing environment
- Strong analytical skills and experience working with accounting and automation systems
- Strong people and team management experience
- Experience in the retail or FMCG industry is preferred
