Purpose of Role

As a Distribution House Ops Support Trainer, you will be responsible for training teammates and providing training support for all floor operations.  Assists in writing standard operating procedures (SOPs).  Assists in achieving goals of the DH and training function and partnering with leadership to address training opportunities.  Distribution House Ops Support Trainers perform an array of functions that include demonstrating and help drive Under Armour’s Core Competencies. 

Your Impact

May include, but are not limited to, the following: 
•    Maintains a clean and safe work environment and reports any unsafe working conditions or equipment.
•    Responsible for preparing and conducting new hire training and re-training of incumbent teammates. 
•    Creates and updates SOPs as required.  Train and audit teammates on new SOPs.
•    Supports efforts to align teammates on the usage of SOPs and preferred work methods for training.
•    Work with DH departments to develop custom training and deployment of department specific training.
•    Participate and lead continuous improvement activities.
•    Maintains a clean and safe work environment.
•    Collaborates with cross-functional departments to support productivity goals when required.


May include, but are not limited to, the following: 
•    May work in various departments as needed.
•    Must possess good communication, organizational, time management and training skills.
•    Ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment.
•    Knowledge of warehouse management systems, scanning equipment, and lift certification on or 2+ years’ experience preferred.
•    Must have worked in the DH for at least a year.
•    Demonstrated skill to inspire and motivate others to perform well.
•    Excellent presentation skills and ability to handle multiple projects.

  • Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our Sparrows Point office (7030 Tradepoint Ave, Edgemere, MD 21219).
  • Return to Work Designation:  Fully in office

Base Compensation


Most new hires fall within this range and have the opportunity to earn more over time. Initial placement within the salary range, however, is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills and experience for the position.
