Purpose of Role

To support the rapid growth of the Under Armour brand in the Benelux, Netherland and UK accounts, we are looking for a highly motivated Collections Specialist who can effectively manage the Accounts Receivable portfolio for all buyer group, key accounts, and field accounts in these regions and ensure that all customer payments are received in line with agreed payment terms. The right candidate will be a team player with strong communication skills, a can-do attitude, and a passion for the UA brand.

Your Impact

include but are not limited to the following:

• Manage the general ageing of the Accounts Receivable portfolio for accounts and achieve overall corporate targets.
• Frequent telephone and email communication with customers as part of the general cash collections process.
• Agility to work for all EMEA Accounts Receivable.
• Ensuring proper maintaining of the customer master database, especially managing the addresses, VAT ID numbers, contact persons and their email addresses and Direct Debit data,
• Portal Billing Billtrust: ensure that all customers are recorded and follow up on any demand or queries from them.
• Follow up all demand from our Buyer Group member like ANWR-GARANT NEDERLAND B.V. and EURETCO B.V., and others partner, to ensure correct billing in SAP (membership, name & VAT).
• Follow up the review of credit limit with our Credit Risk team.
• Follow up external collection with our Third Party and all accounts in Bankruptcy & Insurance claims.
• Clean up demand from customers in the AR mailbox and support the team during the holiday. 
• Ensuring timely running of the Direct Debit program in conjunction with the cash apps department
• Work closely with the claims and dispute department enabling them to resolve any occurring dispute or claim.
• Support the cash application specialist by obtaining customer payment information in a timely manner.
• Other financial and administrative support duties deemed necessary.

Qualifications

• 2-year post-education experience, preferably in an Accounts Receivable position.
• College level education.
• Fluent in English and another language ( French or Spanish).
• Experience in SAP preferred.
• Knowledge of Excel.  
• Strong numerical skills, high attention to detail, improve process in place.

Workplace Location

• Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our Amsterdam office.
• Return to Work Designation: Hybrid work (baseline of minimum 2 days a week in-office.
