The Rookie Program
Do you have what it takes to make an impact?! Join the Under Armour Rookie (internship) Program:
- Start date 1st of February ‘25 until 30th of June ‘25
In order to be eligible for an internship you must be:
- Enrolled in a Dutch University (not on-line) in a Bachelor or a Master for the entire duration of the program (full 5 months) AND be an EU citizen passport holder OR a Non-EU Citizen studying in the Netherlands (Internship should be then a mandatory part of your curriculum).

Purpose of Role
STRATEGIC PROJECT:
- Project Javelin is a Mobile Speed Initiative targeted for EMEA region, the goal of which is to close the gap between experiences as well as:
- Meet mobile consumer expectations for web-speed
- Protect SEO rankings and drive/retain more organic traffic
- Present an app-like feel and experience for easier customer browsing and purchase.
- QA Engineer is responsible of attending Agile ceremonies, get QA tasks from the scrum board, own the testing process of his/her responsibility area, prepare test cases if needed, execute the test cases, report the issues and verify the testing scope clearly defined and executed
Your Impact
- You participate in multiple cross functional product development teams
- You ensure full-stack functionality and new user-facing features are thoroughly tested before release to minimize bugs (UI and UX analysis and testing)
- You create defects related to issues that you found during test execution period
- You define the testing scope of the tickets that are assigned to you
- You partner closely with cross-functional teams (Product, Design, Engineering, Delivery, etc.), to proactively identify and manage QA dependencies, scope, and acceptance criteria
- You deeply understand user flows in the apps and website
- You verify functional testing and work closely with the key technical analysts & business stakeholders
- You take an initiative to chase down answers and actively participate in Agile ceremonies, including Daily Stand-Ups, Sprint Planning, Retrospectives, and Sprint Reviews and Demos for your teams
- You coordinate keeping project artifacts up to date in UA business systems like Confluence and JIRA
- You escalate issues and impacts to delivery timelines and work proactively with teams to remove barriers to project execution
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor or master’s program in digital, computer science, or related field
- Basic knowledge of agile principles and scrum processes
- Basic knowledge in performing root cause, change impact and risk-based test analysis
