The Under Armour Rookie Program Internship is designed to give you the opportunity to learn, grow, and work on real business challenges. As a Rookie, you will be trusted with a strategic project that challenges you to think critically, collaborate cross‑functionally, and create impact.

Are You The Next Rookie?
- Enrolled in a Dutch college or university (Bachelor’s or Master’s) for the full duration of the internship (September 2026 – June 2027)
- Hold EU citizenship, OR are a non‑EU student studying in the Netherlands
- Internship is a mandatory part of your curriculum

As an Accounting Rookie:
As an Accounting Rookie, you will support the EMEA Statutory Accounting team in delivering a key strategic transformation of the statutory reporting process. This role focuses on driving improvements to efficiency, visibility, and control by supporting the rollout of enhancements to our reporting, migrating processes currently managed in Excel into a more structured, scalable reporting environment. Your work will directly contribute to stronger governance, improved stakeholder oversight, and more effective management of statutory engagements across the EMEA region.
Your Impact
By the end of the Rookie Program, a successful intern will have played a central role in modernizing the EMEA statutory reporting framework and improving transparency across multiple entities.
Responsibilities
• Support enhancements to our statutory reporting and coordination, migrating legacy Excel based processes.
• Contribute to the in sourcing of financial statement preparation.
• Assist in improving entity management and audit scheduling, enabling clearer oversight of timelines, responsibilities, and dependencies.
• Support further development of audit deliverable lists and task management functionality.
• Partner with the Statutory Accounting Manager to document, standardize, and communicate updated statutory reporting processes.
• Assist with statutory accounting activities, including preparation and review of financial information.
• Support ad hoc accounting, reporting, and process improvement initiatives.
Impact
• Improve efficiency, consistency, and control of EMEA statutory reporting
• Increase visibility and transparency for key stakeholders across statutory engagements
• Strengthen governance and planning through better tooling, documentation, and process clarity
Qualifications
You are:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s student in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Interested in statutory reporting, financial governance, and process optimization.
- Motivated by working on structured transformation projects with real business impact.
You bring:
- Strong analytical skills and a high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and meet deadlines.
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.
Systems & Tools (advantageous, not required):
- Advanced Excel capabilities.
- SAP or Workiva a plus.
Languages:
- Fluent in English (additional European languages are a plus)

- Work Schedule: This role follows a hybrid work schedule, requiring 4 days in-office per week.
