Purpose of Role

We’re looking for a Creative Lead Storytelling & Campaigns, to join Under Armour’s EMEA Marketing Team. This role is more than just writing and overseeing copy, it’s about ideas, storytelling and shaping how the brand shows up in the world. You’ll help us raise the creative bar in the region. Sometimes that means working with partner agencies and pushing their work further.

Other times it means developing strategic and campaign ideas in-house and proving that great creativity can also come from within the team.

Either way, you’ll play a key role in challenging, influencing and elevating Under Armour’s voice and brand in EMEA and beyond.

This role mixes big picture thinking with a hands-on approach. You’ll balance the art of creativity with the discipline of brand consistency, making sure every idea feels fresh but also unmistakably Under Armour. Partnering closely with the Creative Director of EMEA, you’ll work with art directors, strategists, agencies, and global teams to ensure our storytelling connects powerfully with athletes and consumers across the region.

  • Direct and elevate agency output, ensuring all external creative aligns with UA’s brand values, strategic priorities, and creative excellence standards.
  • Translate complex marketing briefs into compelling narratives and breakthrough creative, ensuring every execution ladders up to seasonal brand and business objectives.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with art directors, designers, copywriters, and project managers to deliver integrated, consumer-centric creative solutions across the full marketing funnel.
  • Oversee localization and cultural adaptation of campaigns across multi-language markets, ensuring creative relevance, cultural nuance, and brand consistency at scale.
  • Act as a creative catalyst within the organization, confidently pitching bold ideas, inspiring stakeholders, and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Establish and scale creative operating principles across EMEA, driving process efficiency, improving output quality, and enabling a high-performing creative ecosystem.
