Position Summary

Are you a dynamic, analytical and creative UX Expert who wants to help grow our European business and create innovative and engaging customer experiences?
As a UX & Strategy Manager you are a passionate advocate of the Under Armour BRAND and it's consumers as well as detail-oriented and organized, capable of handling multiple projects at once, and capable of dealing with ambiguity and rapidly-changing priorities in our fast-paced environment.

In this role you optimize the online customer experience for Under Armour Europe, establish and innovate user-centered design processes to customers.  You define personalization and consumer journey strategies and ensure standard practices and processes regarding the consumer funnel on UA.com within the 15 markets we operate in online.
You collaborate with various teams to design end-to-end chain of services, systems and customer interactions. Furthermore, you identify improvement areas and opportunities plus prospective competitive advantage for advanced research as well as exploration.

You contribute for the creation of the eCommerce business vision, acting to define strategic goals, priorities, work processes, technology, systems, requirements, performance metrics, etc.
We expect you to analyze qualitative (customer journey, order flow, etc) and quantitative (funnel breakdown considering add to cart, site abandonment, bounce rate, etc) performances always seeking ways to improve. You are accountable for revenue and onsite KPIs throughout the entire online consumer funnel. Your team is highly results oriented and is focused on automation and personalization programs maximizing the above KPI’s through measurable projects.


Do You Have
Experience at a leading consumer product company with a user-centered focus, in a fast-paced startup environment that runs in an agile manner
Experience in working in a commercial business
Expert knowledge of user-centered principles.
Expert in understanding analytical data (commercial and website performance) and applying gained insights to UX projects

Experience in both visual and interaction design
Experience in site optimization and testing
Experience in managing people across different departments

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Own the onsite funnel breakdown and its optimization (order flow & checkout improvements) 
  • Define and establish the onsite consumer journey through personalization and optimization. Create the cross functional link for the full funnel consumer journey. 
  • Self-confidently own the shopping experience by engaging our visitors in an outstanding site experience ultimately leading to purchases
  • Define and manage the introduction of product and purchase experience-related optimization opportunities
  • Lead strategic customer service projects and their cross functional implementation
  • Coordinate and drive the successful implementation of all localization efforts
  • Analyze and monitor KPI’s in order to derive results and learnings on content and business impact
  • Successfully use customer segmentation strategies to increase engagement rates
  • Ability to analyze data quantitatively, use customer research as well as metrics to back up assumptions and identify opportunities
  • Contribute to the development and testing of new features for our most important devices
  • Ability to prioritize workload, deliver results against multiple targets and fostering cohesion
  • Lead and grow a team of multidisciplinary colleagues with mentorship, guidance, and strategy.

Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)

  • BA/BS qualified. MBA or studies preferred in Digital Business / Digital Communication / Digital Design / Computer Science
  • At least 6  years of experience in a similar role, preferable in a complex international environment & with experience in Online Retailer or FMCG industry.
  • 1-3 years management teams experience 
  • English language required at least another European language is preferred
  • Solid understanding with both bricks-and-mortar and online retailing
  • Strong organizational and project management skills. Able to manage multiple projects and prioritize accordingly
  • Eye for detail and ability to work in fast-pace environment that requires performing under pressure
  • A demonstrated record of shipping amazing experiences in mobile.
  • Consumer centric mindset
  • Demonstrated effective problem-solving skills thinking out of the box paired with the use rigorous logic
  • Proactive and solutions-oriented profile, always looking for ways to improve, experienced in A/B Testing
  • Strong analytical skills (commercial and website performance) and clear understanding of data-driven decision making. Knowledge of Adobe Analytics & Tableau
  • Strong affinity with the sports apparel industry
  • Strong communicator with excellent command of the English language. Additional European languages are a plus.
