Purpose of Role
Our products have a compelling story to tell, and EMEA Merchandising is the conduit that translates and delivers our story and product with integrity and impact across all sales channels.
Under Armour Europe is looking for a talented Merchandiser for Factory Houses to join our DTC Merchandising team. This role will be responsible for supporting the Retail team in developing a consumer-centric seasonal assortment strategy that supports strategic and profitable growth.
Channel Merchant will be a key member of the merchandising function reporting into the Factory House Merchandising Manager.
The ideal candidate will be a clear communicator and strong operator with a minimum of 2+ years of merchandising preferable in retail environment. The individual will likely have experience in a well-regarded consumer products company and a professional / personal involvement with both apparel and footwear.
Your Impact
- Assist in the selection and ordering of merchandise based on sales trends and customer preferences.
- Support the development of product assortments and ensure they align with brand strategy and seasonal trends.
- Track product performance and make recommendations for x-functional meetings to ensure assortment efficiency.
- Own analyzing sales trends and competitive landscape to generate recommendations for strategic action to meet performance objectives and the right consumer expectations.
- Assist in the preparation of presentations and reports for strategical meetings and global partner conversations.
- Collaborate with multifunctional teams to implement initiatives throughout seasons.
- Foster positive relationships with the stores and getting their feedback and insight as to product needs and consumer reactions to product assortments and items.

- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively, written and verbal.
- A strong interest in sports and fitness which will translate into authenticity and company connection.
- Strong time management skills and ability to work under pressure with multiple deadlines.
- Knowledge of European Markets with specific focus on Northern Europe ideally attained through living/working in Europe.
- Ability to work in an international environment with a clear understanding of cultural differences.
- Proven quantitative capabilities to assess data, identify trends, and define actions to drive results.
- Ability to self-start and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to establish an independent view while effectively collaborating in decision-making forums.
- Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills.
- Fluent in English.

- Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our Amsterdam office.
- Return to Work Designation: Hybrid work (baseline of minimum 2 days a week in-office.
