Purpose of Role
The Distribution Operations Professional ensures that our partners are supported along a smooth logistics journey by using a mix of analytical, communication and strategic thinking skills in the day-to-day management of our Distribution House. As part of EMEA Supply Chain, you will establish best practices, drive KPIs and support constant process reviews & improvements.
Your Impact
- Accountable for the planning & capacity of the DH, waving orders, day to day reviewing Order Delivery Report
- Scorecard reviews – weekly roll up of performance against SLA’s, root cause and action plans for any areas of concern
- Identify and implement internal and external best-practices.
- Communicate status regularly to UA Ops Managers – potential delays, risks, more work needed, customer appointments, etc.
- Financials – review invoices for accuracy
- Inventory – monitor cycle count completion/accuracy; monitor quality issues and ensure proper disposition of defective product
- Build and maintain an effective business relationship with internal (Logistics, Planning, Sales, Finance, Commercial) and external stakeholders and relevant accounts
- Build and maintain a good relationship with 3PL partner by regular visits in DH
- Competency in process management is required to accomplish day to day ways of working and operationalizing systems to meet service and customer requirements (ie: B2B, CRM tools, reporting dashboards)
- Partner with SC teammates and cross functional partners to meet the needs of internal and external customers.
- Communication: Functions as a ‘bridge-building’ between teams outside Supply Chain and Under Armour, by inclusion of the right stakeholders, constructive communication to hit team and regional goals. And building strong relationships.
Qualifications
- Results-driven professional with vision and enterprise mindset.
- Experienced presentation skills required.
- Highly effective communicator with the ability to summarize and present data.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite & Knowledge enterprise management system and CRM solutions (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
- Ability to travel to the warehouse weekly or as required
- Bachelor’s Degree
- <1 years +’ experience in supply chain operations
- European Driver’s License (Preferred)
Workplace Location
- Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our Amsterdam office.
- Return to Work Designation: Starting in October, teammates are required to work on-site for 3 days per week. This will increase to 4 days per week beginning January 2026
- Travel: 15% - 20% Travel to UA Distribution House and/or Logistics Partner
