Purpose of Role

The role of the Store Operations Specialist involves overseeing and enhancing the IT and store experience within our owned and operated retail landscape. This Sr. professional will play a pivotal role in our team, serving as a bridge between our Under Armour Retail, IT collaborators, and our field operations, all aimed at providing optimal support to our stores.

Your Impact

•    Collaborate with our dynamic team to craft, launch, and oversee cutting-edge in-store experiences and systems, ensuring an exceptional journey for our athletes and teammates.

•    Spearhead the development, launch, and management of innovative store experiences and systems, such as RFID, Point of Sale systems or connected fittingrooms.

•    Partner with the Sr. Retail Operations Manager and Training & Communication lead to create comprehensive training programs for existing and new store systems, guaranteeing seamless operations and top-notch customer service.

•    Take the lead in optimizing inventory management processes within our stores, constantly seeking process improvements.

•    Keep our team informed and engaged through regular updates and communications that drive our business forward.

•    Play a vital role in supporting our stores and field teams through training and onboarding activities.

•    Be the go-to person for stores' IT and systems/tool-related issues, providing expert guidance and support.

•    Keep our retail operations on track by assisting with store maintenance activities, ensuring timely and budget-friendly completion of projects, and communicating effectively with store teams and vendors.

•    Exercise your financial acumen by managing purchase orders, invoicing, and budgets for various projects and services.

•    Elevate your analytical skills as you create, run, and maintain reports on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, all tailored to your areas of responsibility. Your insights will drive our success!
 

Qualifications

•    3 – 5 years retail experience in store management and/or retail operations.  
•    Experience with retail systems like Point of Sale, RFID (Nedap), Omni solutions like endless aisle and BOPIS.
•    Demonstrated experience managing projects, preferably related to digital or technology.
•    Passion for the UA brand; must embody the UA culture and believe in the company spirit
•    Independent; self-starter; self-sufficient.
•    Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills; ability to communicate down, across and up within the organization
•    Strong analytical & organizational skills
•    Strong interpersonal skills- ability to build partnerships.
•    Must be highly skilled with MS Office programs (MSWord, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
•    Thorough understanding of retail operations to include inventory control, retail systems, budgeting, expense management and business planning.
•    Excellent stakeholder management skills. 
 

Workplace Location

  • Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our Amsterdam office.
  • Return to Work Designation: 2 days week in-office as a minimum, the remainder of work week remote. 
  • Travel: 5% - 10% of the year
