Purpose of Role

Under Armour EMEA is seeking a Sr. DTC Business Planner to join its Planning team based in Amsterdam. This is an ideal opportunity for a self-motivated, passionate, flexible, and focused individual to join a high-quality team.


The main responsibilities of the role will be planning and maintaining a 3 year outlook for the DTC business through developing a tops-down financial plan, with a focus on the current and upcoming year. The Sr. DTC Business Planner will leverage collaborative cross-functional relationships that enable the DTC team to meet quarterly sales and margin objectives.

Your Impact

  • Define the top down LRP (Long Range Plans) for DTC channels 

  • Build and maintain 3 year rolling Sales Plans that substantiate financial targets and across key KPI’s

  • Partner with DTC Commercial leads, DTC Planners & Finance to develop Financial Targets.

  • Translate financial sales and KPI targets for the financial year that support long-term strategic growth for the DTC Channels

  • Develop bottoms daily, weekly and monthly financial plans including sales, margin, traffic, conversion, AUR, UPT and ADT for each channel, Marketplace account level, Ecom country, and Retail store level.

  • Update the annual KPI targets on a quarterly basis aligned to the financial target updates.

  • Collaborate with cross functional partners on driving successful new store openings and ongoing process improvements.

  • Provide input for regional assortment matrix development ensuring DTC channel nuances and needs are met to achieve Financial Targets. 

  • Communicate potential target adjustment opportunities and risks as they arise.

  • Analyze and react to financial, market, customer trends and formulate appropriate strategies in partnership with the cross-functional team.

  • Lead special projects and business opportunities on behalf of the Planning and Allocation team.

  • Drive seasonal size curve optimization process

Qualifications

  • Strong business acumen specific to Retailer KPI’s Sales, Margin, Traffic, Conversion, Inventory etc.
  • 4-5years experience in DTC Sales or Merch Planning or Business Planning. 
  • Ability to build cross-functional relationships through strong communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Basic knowledge of FP&A processes & financial acumen 
  • Intellectual curiosity to dig into details, root cause issues, and support various account initiatives 
  • The ability to present information in a clear, concise, and complete manner.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Finance, Mathematics or another relevant field preferred.  

Workplace Location

  • Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our Amsterdam office.
  • Return to Work Designation: 2 days week in-office, the remainder of work week remote.
