Purpose of Role
The Sr. Professional Wholesale Channel Planning is responsible for the demand planning of Under Armour products for a designated part of the wholesale business. This role requires understanding of specific market and account dynamics to effectively build sell-in plans, using trend analysis, sell-out insights and seasonal targets. The senior professional will work with sales, product and marketing teams to ensure the account group meets quarterly sales objectives, inventory targets, and ensure GTM strategies come to life in the market.
Your Impact
- Build bottom-up channel merchandise financial plans by product category in partnership with sales and merchandising, ensuring alignment with broader regional goals.
- Define seasonal line architecture targets for channel and account level assortments that drive productivity and optimize growth aligned to regional and category strategy.
- Work closely with Channel Merchandising to gain strong command of seasonal product strategies, key product and marketing stories, and distribution segmentation to align the bottom-up plan with the channel assortment strategy.
- Run what/if scenarios to support decision-making and provide insights on potential channel performance outcomes.
- Gather and present regional hind sighting data to drive actions and support ongoing planning efforts, both for short and long term.
- Collaborate with the commercial and merchandise team to align sell-in and sell-out plans to optimize business goals.
- Execute monthly demand forecasts at the style-color level, driven by statistical forecasting and continuously manage necessary adjustments using the Blue Yonder Demand system.
- Build seasonal stock & sales plans for key partners to determine sell-in based on projected partner inventory (turn), sell-out potential and gross margins
- Utilize systematic forecast and performance data to identify opportunities and risks to the financial and strategic target at monthly and quarterly channel reviews.
- Support Sales in successful conversion of plan to bookings through the sell-in process, providing data driven insight on both sell-in strategies and sell-out performance data.
- Drive accuracy and stabilization of the demand plan over time and reconcile demand plans to customer bookings.

Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in sales-, merch-, or demand planning or a related role.
- Experience in the apparel or footwear industry is preferred.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful Wholesale Channel strategies.
- Understanding of channel planning, with exposure to scenario planning and long-range forecasting using financial plans & historical data.
- Ability to interpret data and assist in shaping business narratives (story telling), providing support for decision-making processes by contributing data-driven insights.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate key data findings to non-technical teams, with guidance, ensuring alignment with broader business goals
- Knowledgeable in financial concepts, such as revenue, costs, and profit margins, as well as how they relate to planning processes to drive decision making.
- Develop skills in identifying problems and working with predictive analytics tools to support basic refinement of recommendations.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work within a team and support planning initiatives.
- Solid experience with data analysis & visualization tools for reporting and insights,
- Experience in Blue Yonder’s Planning module or similar planning tools preferred.
Workplace Location
- Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our Amsterdam office.
- Return to Work Designation: Starting in October, teammates are required to work on-site for 3 days per week. This will increase to 4 days per week beginning January 2026.
