The Rookie Program

Start date 1st of September '25 - Jan 31st '26

 

In order to be eligible for an internship you must be: 

Enrolled in a Dutch University (not on-line) in a Bachelor or a Master for the entire duration of the program (full 5 months) AND be an EU citizen passport holder OR a Non-EU Citizen studying in the Netherlands (Internship should be then a mandatory part of your curriculum).

Purpose of Role

Allocations is the foundation of Supply Chain activities. This team plays a pivotal role in delivering the service and ultimately generating revenue across all the channels in EMEA Under Armour. As part of the EMEA Supply Chain team, you will support the Sr. Professional for Allocations in optimizing business processes to a next level. This will involve learning about all of the connecting Supply Chain areas, and the collaborating with cross functional partners across the business.

 

This role will focus on a subset of processes where you will closely collaborate with teammates in and outside Supply Chain. This will range from quality issues with our products and its monitoring, to optimizing the liquidation process flow and outlining the allocation process to set the baseline for further optimization

 

You have a process-oriented mindset and are able to easily ‘connect the dots’. It allows you to visualize this process and identify and communicate process constraints. But also, to suggest process improvements. You trust your own judgement, but also validate your understanding with your teammates, to ensure you have the full picture in place. Ultimately you deliver clear processes, including agreed roles and responsibilities captured in RACI and process flows. You 
 

Your Impact

  • Your contribution to the tracking of quality issues, will lead to best possible tooling and solution to submit quality issues with all supporting documentation to the CC&S team and to get efficient reporting in place with help of the same tool. Implementation of this new tool will help to improve efficiency in handling quality cases and get more visibility on inventory and cost impacts.
  • You will drive the optimizing of the liquidation process flow, to support our revenue growth and improve processes of liquidation accounts. You relentless pursuit of information accuracy supporting on the supply chain processes and coordinate and involve key stakeholders (internally & externally) including logistics, SOPO, commercial team, buying team to collate the process enhancement.
  • You will support the Sr. Professional Analysts in visualizing the process flow for Allocation. By doing this, you are able to identify bottlenecks and define suggestions with the business users. In addition, you create this valuable overview of training and education purposes. This will support the knowledge elevation across the supply chain team and stakeholders outside this team where needed.
  • You are in the middle of the operations, close to where ‘order convert into revenue’. With this, you can make a difference by supporting the team with ad-hoc requests from stakeholders that are submitted in our ticketing tool. By doing this, you have a direct impact on the regional revenue and service agreements that we have in place.

Qualifications

  • Student of: Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Logistics Management and/or Analytical Field 
  • Skilled in MS Office365 suite, specifically Excel. 
  • Analytics tools like Tableau or other
  • Experience in SAP is appreciated
  • Great communication skills and ability to collaborate in an international context
  • Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving ability
  • SAP FMS knowledge will be considered as advantage

Workplace Location

  • Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our Amsterdam office.
  • Return to Work Designation: Starting in October, teammates are required to work on-site for 3 days per week. This will increase to 4 days per week beginning January 2026
