Date: Aug 25, 2021

Location: Austin, Texas, US

Company: Under Armour

Under Armour has one mission: to make you better. We have a commitment to innovation that lies at the heart of everything we do, not just for our athletes but also for our teammates. As a global organization, our teams around the world push boundaries and think beyond what is expected. Together our teammates are unified by our values and are grounded in our vision to inspire you with performance solutions you never knew you needed but can’t imagine living without.

Position Summary

We are seeking a Technical Product Manager to work across teams & departments to successfully lead and execute business-critical MapMyRun projects. A successful Technical Product Manager is passionate about great products and also is comfortable getting into the technical details - clarifying, contributing, and organizing thoughts to arrive at the best outcome for the business. They have a thoughtful point of view about what makes products great or terrible. They can also translate their point of view into requirements and specifications that result in great software for both our athletes and our engineering team. Technical Product Managers are analytical. They must be confident enough to analyze numbers and make decisions based on them, but also curious enough to understand why they may be wrong. Great TPMs are peculiar. On the one hand, they are incredibly meticulous, but on the other hand they know when to let go. They enable others to do their best work by articulating the boundaries of a problem, communicating clearly across multiple channels, and stay focused on what matters to our athletes. The ability to communicate clearly is paramount. Technical Product Management is art and science, strategy and tactics, passion and reason.
