Position Summary
Placement Area
As a Materials Testing Rookie, you'll help evaluate and validate the performance of innovative materials and products designed for athletes. Working alongside product creation, materials, innovation, and testing teams, you'll support laboratory testing, data collection, and performance analysis that inform product decisions and future innovation. Through hands-on testing, research, and cross-functional collaboration, you'll gain insight into how science, athlete needs, and data come together to create better-performing products. This opportunity is ideal for students studying Materials Science, Textile Science, Kinesiology, Statistics, Data Analytics, or related fields.
As a Materials Development Rookie, you'll play a role in the discovery, evaluation, and development of innovative materials that power Under Armour products. You'll partner with product creation, sourcing, innovation, and testing teams to explore new fabric technologies, assess material performance, and support projects that enhance the athlete experience. Through hands-on research, testing, and cross-functional collaboration, you'll gain insight into how material innovation influences product performance, sustainability, and commercial success. This opportunity is ideal for students studying Materials Science, Textile Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, Product Development, or related fields.
Eligibility
- Currently enrolled in a 4-year undergraduate or graduate program (expected graduation between December 2027 - August 2028), or a recent graduate with relevant experience.
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
Workplace Location
- Baltimore, MD headquarters office

Hiring Process
Our recruiting team will review applications on a rolling basis. Hiring managers will begin reviewing candidates and conducting interviews starting in October, with interviews continuing over the following few months as positions are filled.
