Purpose of Role
The Coordinator – Facilities Engineer is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, and enhancement of all building systems within the HQ campus. This role involves overseeing the design, planning, construction, and maintenance of equipment, machinery, buildings, and other facilities. The Facility Engineer works closely with various departments to ensure that facilities meet all operational and safety requirements.
Your Impact
Maintenance
• Perform ongoing preventative and repair needs based on work orders for facility mechanical, electrical, structural, Fire, Life, Safety, plumbing, and other installed systems, equipment, and components as assigned/necessary.
• Record readings and adjust where necessary to ensure proper operation of equipment.
• Perform assigned facility inspections and due diligence efforts, reporting on as found conditions impacting satisfactory teammate occupancy and operations.
• Maintenance of the equipment will include cleaning, inspecting, calibrating and changing parts to maintain the HVAC systems and associated equipment at optimum performance levels
• Receive training on and become familiar with the property‘s sustainable equipment, including systems associated with LEED standards, to support and achieve building performance goals.
• Update work order status in real time utilizing CMMS system and escalate problems or issues to manager in a timely manner.
• General interior maintenance – hang pictures, hang whiteboards, repair office furniture systems and repair doors.
• Occasional moving of office furniture, equipment and other materials as requested
• Replace lighting and ballasts
• Clean HVAC coils, change filters and belts.
Quality Control
• Review teammate work order requests periodically to pinpoint, correct, or communicate with management recurrent operational problems
• Monitor work performed and provide oversight of third-party vendors and contractors while they are present onsite to ensure quality and completeness of statement of work issued.
• Verify the accuracy of facility related deliveries for count, pricing, and description.
Safety
• Comply with departmental policy for the safe storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materials; maintain a clean and safe workplace
• Demonstrates proper use and care of tools and instruments, and understands basic maintenance, safety, and troubleshooting procedures. Maintain inventory.
• Comply with all safety procedures, maintaining good housekeeping and safety of work areas. Recognize danger and safety hazards and propose methods to eliminate them.
• Maintain compliance to State, County, or City Ordinances, Codes, or Laws.
• Must complete all required safety trainings as scheduled
Qualifications
• Must be able to physically lift or move up to 50 pounds
• Ability to bend, sit, kneel, squat, stand, reach and lay as required to access equipment components for extended periods of time.
• Ability to work in various environments including extreme heat, sunlight, rain, and extreme cold.
• Significant amount of walking, bending, twisting, and moving equipment and supplies
• Ability to simultaneously manage multiple tasks.
• Must be detail oriented, have the ability to prioritize tasks, and able to work under pressure with multiple deadlines
• Proficient with computer applications including MS Office, Outlook, and Teams or equivalent.
• Experience working within a CMMS work order system.
• Respond to emergencies 24 hours a day during period, scheduled in advance, mandatory on-call rotations.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent, with two years of related experience and/or training in carpentry, electrical, HVAC, or plumbing.
• Certification as a Universal Technician for CFC’s (or within 90 days of employment)
• Occasional overtime requests for the building maintenance and stadium events.
• Take part in Corporate Real Estate team meetings and events as required.
• Other tasks as assigned and requested
Workplace Location
- Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our Baltimore HQ office.
- Work Schedule: This role requires 5 days per week in-office

Base Compensation
$24.81-$31.01 USD per hour
Most new hires fall within this range and have the opportunity to earn more over time. Initial placement within the salary range, however, is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills and experience for the position.
