Purpose of Role

This leadership role is responsible for leading multiple functions in planning including both business planning in addition pre-season and in-season planning for Wholesale and DTC a fast paced and high growth businesses in the America’s region.  This leader is a key strategic partner of both LATAM GM and VP Planning collaborating to develop and execute plans that support brand vision. Also, will manage the Inventory to guarantee we maximize our investment across the market/region
There will be 2 distinct functional teams reporting into this leader:
Merch Sales Planning (7 teammates)
Inventory management (2 teammates)

Your Impact

Assortment Planning and Management
-Plan assortment level by class to support Digital and Brand House growth plan
-Drive full price sales while planning and managing outlet inventory levels and price to achieve sales, margin and turn
-Partner with Supply Chain DH and Operations to ensure outbound decisions drive growth
-Develop strategies to drive an omni experience for the customer and utilize omni-inventory

Team Development and Engagement
-Train, mentor and develop a diverse team of Planners
-Set measurable goals and objectives that ladder up to the NA strategy
-Develop and implement action plan to improve teammate engagement
-Implement standard operating processes set by the Global organization

Strategic growth initiatives short and Process Improvement
- Develop long range strategic milestones to hit sales, margin and turn targets in digital and roadmap with KPIs to achieve metrics
- Develop and implement process improvement to streamline work and reduce SG&A
-Partner with Merch, Global and Stores to align on stop, start and continue activities aligning time spend with actions.  

Inventory Fulfillment & Inventory Planning is responsible for strategic alignment and in-system
-execution of regional inventory strategies to achieve optimal business performance.  Focuses
- optimizing inventory levels to balance on-time service and just-in-time inventory by leveraging
advanced data analytics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Ensures seamless integration of demand signals with financial projections, effectively reducing unresolved demand and excess inventory.
- Identifying and mitigating risks, ensuring agile and resilient operations. Through strategic vision and cross-functional collaboration, it plays a pivotal role in steering the organization towards sustainable growth and operational excellence

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Finance, Mathematics or other relevant field 
10+ years of experience in Sales or Merch Planning, Demand Planning and Allocation.   
Previous experience in Digital preferred 
Proven success in building and leading diverse teams
- Strong business acumen specific to Revenue, Margin, Service & Inventory
- Proven Planning expertise
- Demonstrated effective project management skills and experience
- Ability to build cross-functional relationships through strong communication and interpersonal skills


Workplace Location

  • Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our Baltimore office.
  • Work Schedule:This role follows a hybrid work schedule, requiring 4 days in-office per week. 
  • Travel: This position is required to travel Internationality (Mexico primary market) at least quarterly.

Base Compensation

$155,000.00-$200,000 USD

Most new hires fall within this range and have the opportunity to earn more over time. Initial placement within the salary range, however, is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills and experience for the position.
