Position Summary

The Lead, Digital Workplace Solution Architect is the subject matter expert, supporting Under Armour's global Teammate application software which services our software and integrations which support for UA’s Hybrid Teammates. The system support includes but is not limited to Cisco admin hub, Smart Building Integration, Slack, and Vbrick. The Lead, Digital Workplace Solution Architect will work closely with:

  • Lead, Corporate Real Estate Technology Solutions and Lead, Collaboration Engineer for building commissioning, equipment selection, and turnover. 
  • Events Team for virtual Events, training, and infrastructure requirements
  • Integration between virtual and physical collaboration system
  • Collaboration Software and Integration Technologies
  • Microsoft, Okta, and other platforms 

The Lead, Digital Workplace Solution Architect, will support Under Armour's helpdesk team globally with maintenance, upgrades, and full production support. 
 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Solutions Technology Leaders on the technical and business strategy to create alignment between business and IT. 
  • Create deliverables for business leaders that facilitate decisions regarding technology investments and operational efficiency. 
  • Employ a human-centric approach and design thinking to evolve both the in-office and remote teammate experience.
  • Identify, implement emergent technologies, and the ability to scale solutions to delight teammates, improve engagement, and create business value.
  • L4 Technical support for Help Desk and high-level troubleshooting skills
     

Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)

  • Strong consultative, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving aptitude.
  • Experience leading change management or transformation initiatives.
  • Ability to analyze complex business challenges.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and enthusiasm to be hands-on with testing innovative technologies while understanding real-world applications.
  • Understands emerging technology trends and disruptions and the practical application of existing, new, and emerging technologies to enable new and evolving business and operating models.
  • Ability to understand the long-term ("big picture") and short-term perspectives of situations
     

Education And / Or Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in either Computer Engineering, or equivalent 
  • Cisco or collaboration certifications
  • 5-7 years of corporate, operational, or technology role discipline 
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and service skills.
  • Acting as an information source and communicator between business branches.
  • Understand of various programming languages like, simple, Java (preferred)
     

Other Requirements

  • Landscape such as: Collaboration Technology, Cisco Collaboration technology, Slack, Microsoft, Vbrick, Sharepoint, Okta, Appsapce.
  • Understanding of Vbrick, Appspace, Cisco Admin Hub, Slack (preferred)
  • Experience working in fast-paced, technology product-focused organizations and business units. 
  • Business relationship and stakeholder management 
  • Enhancing the quality of IT products and services.
  • Analyzing the design of technical systems and business models.
  • Analyzing business needs.
  • Finding technological solutions to business requirements.
  • Analyzing data to inform business decisions.
