Purpose of Role

The Lead, Global Fulfillment Planner plays a pivotal role in supporting Under Armour’s global fulfillment operations by ensuring inventory accuracy, system integrity, and cross-functional operational excellence. This role utilizes Blue Yonder planning tools to optimize inventory availability, fill rates, and replenishment strategies across global distribution centers and direct-to-store channels. The planner is responsible for managing safety stock parameters and aligning fulfillment strategies to enable seamless execution through end-to-end planning.

Your Impact

Fulfillment & Inventory Strategy

•    Lead the design, execution and adoption of global inventory planning strategies using the Blue Yonder Fulfillment module.
•    Manage Global replenishment parameters, including safety stock parameters, calendars and fulfillment rules while optimizing inventory and service for those core replenishment SKU’s
•    Optimize key parameters such as safety stock and reorder points to balance service levels, while collaborating with demand planning globally & regionally
•    Monitor and adjust safety stock levels to balance service levels and carrying costs. 
•    Maintain Global fulfillment calendars and ensure readiness for product launches and seasonal campaigns.
•    Manage system parameters and capabilities to resolve unmet demand to optimize revenue, aligning demand and supply signals while partnering with supply planning and regional demand planning teams. 
•    Cross functional partnership where supply chain constraints exist 

Blue Yonder System Ownership
•    Serve as the global owner of Blue Yonder Fulfillment planning parameters and configuration integrity.
•    Serve as the product owner of Global Fulfillment Solutions.  Partner with Supply Chain Ops & IT and business teams to ensure system stability, upgrades, and alignment with evolving business needs.
•    Drive enhancements and automation within BY Control Tower, Demand Planning, and Fulfillment modules.

Data Fluency & Advanced Analytics
•    Utilize BY’s data models and external data sources to generate insights and optimize inventory 
•    Collaborate with Global Demand Planning & data science teams to build predictive models and simulations for inventory optimization.

Global Collaboration & Governance
•    Establish governance frameworks and documented SOPs for parameter management across regions and business units.
•    Collaborate with global fulfillment, regional fulfillment & global supply chain to enable a robust monthly S&OP process with inventory KPIs & service. 
Performance Monitoring & Continuous Improvement
•    Define and monitor KPIs such as inventory turns/DFC, fill rate, forecast accuracy, and system performance.
•    Lead root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives using BY analytics and external tools 

AI, Machine Learning & Automation
•    Lead initiatives to embed intelligent automation into planning processes, reducing manual interventions and increasing agility.
•    Serve as the reporting subject matter expert by building custom reports, supporting testing initiatives, and training cross-functional partners.

Qualifications

•    Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Operations, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (Master’s a bonus).
•    4+ years of supply chain experience, including a minimum of 1 year in inventory/fulfillment planning.
•    Strong understanding of Blue Yonder or similar advanced planning modules including Fulfillment, Demand Planning, and Control Tower.
•    Proficient MS Suite knowledge with advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, macros, data modeling) 
•    Strong ability to design, maintain, and optimize reporting and dashboards; skilled at working with large datasets while ensuring accuracy and data integrity.
•    Effective communication and presentation skills with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
•    Proactively identifies opportunities to improve processes and address business needs.
•    Results-driven achiever with strong analytical, organizational, and detail-oriented skills
•    Ability to operate independently and make informed decisions.
•    Flexible team player who can prioritize and manage multiple projects concurrently.
Preferred Skills
•    Experience developing innovative tools and processes to support planning and fulfillment.
•    Comfortable in a fast-paced environment requiring nimble decision-making and flexible solutions.
•    Competencies in data fluency, AI, process automation, and machine learning.
•    Proven track record in process automation and digital transformation within a global supply chain environment.
•    Familiarity with agile methodologies and change management in global organizations.
•    Ability to translate complex technical insights into actionable business strategies.

•    Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance of the Baltimore, MD corporate office.
•    Work Schedule: This role follows a hybrid work schedule, requiring 4 days in-office per week

Base Compensation

 $97,711.20 - $134,352.90 USD

Most new hires fall within this range and have the opportunity to earn more over time. Initial placement within the salary range, however, is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills and experience for the position.
