Position Summary

The Lead, Global Media is a key hire in the Global Media group, responsible for ensuring the Regional Media, Global Brand and Social Content teams are in sync. They will look for test and learn opportunities for the Brand and be a key strategic partner within the larger Global Marketing Team.  This role will also be key in providing insights and learnings cross-functionally to ensure we are developing media and content plans that will resonate with our Global consumer.  

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Be the paid media and digital expert who can make clear decisions based on regional needs during key global go-to-market meetings  
  • Help set media + content strategy to inform Regional tactical Media Plans 
  • Be a thought partner to Brand Marketing to input into seasonal campaign briefs and advise on asset needs + best practices by placement and platform 
  • Lead Global to Regional Communications for campaign updates and media performance share outs 
  • Work cross-functionally with Consumer Insights and Marketing Analytics in order to guide future asset creation and tactical plans 
  • Manage social platform relationships and evaluate/secure opportunities for Under Armour to participate in alpha/beta testing of new content formats and ad products

Education And / Or Experience

  • Education/Certifications: Bachelor’s degree required 
  • Work Experience: 5+ years of paid media planning and strategy, specifically digital  

Other Requirements

  • Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our global headquarters in Baltimore, MD.
  • Return To Work Designation: 2 days a week in-office, the remainder of work week remote


  • Relocation may be provided up to a specified amount
