Purpose of Role

Lead, Marketing Operations – Process & GTM is a critical partner to enable and optimize our seasonal process design, inclusive of our global Go-To-Market.  This role will identify highly impactful process, ways of working and RACI opportunities and drive x-functional teams to solutions, alignment and implementation.  This role will also own operational on-boarding, training and resources for Global Marketing teammates to ensure clarity, understanding and adoption of global processes.  Ultimately, alongside Global Marketing and organizational operations teams, this teammate will drive innovation and progress which enable UA to show up best-in-class and surpass expectations at every consumer touchpoint.

Your Impact

  • Scan the organization for high-impact, high-leverage improvement and cross-functional collaboration opportunities; recommend strategic areas of focus and prioritization.
  • Partner w/GTM and Marketing Leadership to create process development roadmaps which prioritizes new projects in context of pre-existing workload, available resources and timing requirements. 
  • Align w/key cross-functional partners to map new ways of working, confirm RACIs, success metrics, articulate resource needs and detail deliverable expectations. 
  • Partners closely w/ Change Management, Global Marketing functions and x-org Go-To-Market teams
  • Create and lead standardized approach to scorecard and hindsight existing
  • Leveraging hindsight and other inputs, align on go-forward recommendations w/cross-functional partners and own change management across relevant stakeholders.
  • Constantly seek out industry / organizational best practices; recommend opportunities for adaption to optimize existing processes and work streams.
  • Create and lead standardized approach to scorecard and hindsight existing Marketing processes w/biggest impact.  
  • Leveraging hindsight and other inputs, align on go-forward recommendations w/cross-functional partners and own change management across relevant stakeholders.
  • Constantly seek out industry / organizational best practices; recommend opportunities for adaption to optimize existing processes and work streams.
  • Build out and maintain the Marketing team's digital resource to access new and existing process information; standardize the toolkit and formats (maps, RACIs, templates, etc.) for consistency and ease of adoption.
  • Alert Marketing teams on new / updated processes + project pipeline status; on-board new teammates and hold regular training sessions to roll-out new ways of working to existing team. 
  • Develop implementation roadmaps and change management guidance for more complex processes; own and drive implementation of select processes to ensure successful long-term adoption.
     

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field, MBA preferred but not required
  • 3+ years in process design/implementation, change management or project management; part of which must be direct experience w/in a large and highly matrixed marketing org
  • Ideally a mix of career experience across an array of marketing roles (Brand, Product, Experiential, Media, Operations, etc.)
  • Experience in leading large-scale process development, hindsight and training workshops
  • Master at building visual and simple process maps, reference and training materials
  • Experience developing processes for highly matrixed organization 
  • Expertise in Marketing and Omni ways of working 
  • Master at taking complex projects and breaking down into simple executable steps 
  • Strong organizational skills 
  • Strong communication skills; ability to present to and work with all levels of the organization
  • Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills; ability to build compelling content & reports for VP+ leadership
  • Approaches projects w/enterprise mindset
  • Highly influential and persuasive unlocking  individuals ability to understand / adopt process which benefits org at large

  • Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our HQ Baltimore office.
  • Return to Work Designation: 3 days week in-office, the remainder of work week remote.

Base Compensation

 $108,996.00 - $149,868.40 USD

Most new hires fall within this range and have the opportunity to earn more over time. Initial placement within the salary range, however, is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills and experience for the position. UA is committed to helping our teammates succeed and advance in their careers. Base salary is only one component of our competitive Total Rewards package.
