Purpose of Role

The role will drive key material sourcing initiatives and support material commercialization efforts for apparel and accessories products.  You will play a critical role in ensuring the successful launch of new materials and products by collaborating with multiple groups, both internal (i.e. product, development, operations, design, supply chain) and external, at various stages of our product development calendar. Your expertise will be vital in developing materials, implementing cost-effective sourcing strategies, managing key supplier relationships, and ensuring the timely launch of innovative materials.  This role will be a critical bridge between our global sourcing teams and headquarters, ensuring seamless collaboration, informed decision-making, and timely product launches.

Your Impact

•    The role directly impacts product development, cost efficiency, and global supply chain performance
•    Work across functions to ensure adherence to seasonal deadlines and convey potential supply chain impacts. This includes bringing supplier capabilities, cost, and delivery/planning considerations into the early stages of product development
•    Contribute to achieving and exceeding targets for gross margin and on-time delivery through strategic analysis, proactive problem-solving, and effective cross-functional partnerships
•    Influence others to ensure the sourcing strategy is considered during materials selection 
•    Develop and maintain costing models to assist in preliminary costing during material creation and identification of savings opportunities 

Qualifications

•    Bachelor’s degree with 2-5 years of related work experience in product development, supply chain management, sourcing, textiles, merchandising or apparel /accessories/footwear manufacturing
•    Knowledge of accessories/apparel/footwear and fabric development processes preferred
•    Familiarity with product development lifecycle and how sourcing integrates
•    Excellent communication skills and creative problem solving as this role is heavily collaborative. The ability to navigate a complex global supply chain and influence cross-functional teams is essential for success.
•    Analytical and reporting skills are highly desired
•    Strong Microsoft Excel skills; Proficient in Tableau and Microsoft Office suite

Workplace Location

•    Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our global headquarters in Baltimore, MD. 
•    Return To Work Designation: 4 days a week in-office, the remainder of work week remote. 
•    Travel: As Needed, Less than 5% of the year

Base Compensation

 $98,172.00 - $134,986.50 USD

Most new hires fall within this range and have the opportunity to earn more over time. Initial placement within the salary range, however, is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills and experience for the position.
