Purpose of Role

The Manager, FP&A – Corporate Services plays a critical role in driving financial performance and operational efficiency across Under Armour’s Corporate Services functions. This role partners closely with functional leaders in areas such as HR, Legal, Facilities, Corporate Communications and the office of the CFO to provide strategic financial guidance, ensure budgetary discipline, and support controllership excellence.

Your Impact

Financial Planning & Analysis

  • Lead the annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning processes for Corporate Services departments
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support scenario planning and strategic decision-making
  • Conduct in-depth variance analysis to identify key drivers, trends, and provide actionable insights and recommendations
  • Establish, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure financial health and operational effectiveness across Corporate Services

Operational Support

  • Collaborate with department heads to align financial plans with operational goals
  • Monitor spend against budget and identify opportunities for cost optimization
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on enhancing efficiency and reducing manual workflows through automation and process optimization
  • Support system and dashboarding integration efforts, working closely with HR and analytics teams to improve data quality and reporting capabilities

Controllership & Governance

  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies
  • Maintain accurate and timely reporting of financial results

Business Partnership

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to Corporate Services leaders, translating financial data into strategic insights
  • Facilitate monthly business reviews and support ad hoc analysis requests
  • Communicate complex financial concepts clearly to non-financial stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, with a strong emphasis on supporting back office or corporate services functions (e.g., HR, Legal, Office of CFO)
  • Proven expertise in the core FP&A cycle: budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and KPI development/tracking
  • Demonstrated focus on continuous improvement, including experience with system integration and driving process automation (experience working with HR and an analytics team is a major plus)
  • Extremely proficient in Excel and strong analytical skills required
  • Experience with relevant financial and business systems, such as:
    • Power BI / Tableau (or similar dashboarding/visualization tools)
    • SAP (or similar large ERP system)
    • Ariba (or similar procurement/spend management system)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Workplace Location

  • Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our global headquarters in Baltimore, MD
  • Work Schedule: x4 days in office, Monday through Thursday

Base Compensation

  • $104,510.96 - $143,702.57 USD

 

Most new hires fall within this range and have the opportunity to earn more over time. Initial placement within the salary range, however, is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills and experience for the position. UA is committed to helping our teammates succeed and advance in their careers. Base salary is only one component of our competitive Total Rewards package.
