Purpose of Role
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented project specialist to support the development and execution of new retail concepts, including physical prototyping, fixture development, and special initiatives across our retail fleet. This role plays a key part in coordinating cross-functional activities, managing timelines, and ensuring seamless execution of innovation-driven projects within our Retail Store Development team. The ideal candidate brings experience in corporate retail environments, with exposure to project coordination, administrative operations, and cross-functional collaboration. This role is perfect for someone eager to work on fast-moving, high-impact initiatives that shape the future of the in-store experience.
Your Impact
• Support project coordination for new concept development initiatives, including pilot stores, innovation labs, pop-ups, and other special retail formats
• Manage timelines, track deliverables, and ensure alignment across design, construction, procurement, operations, and other key functions
• Assist in the planning and execution of physical prototyping environments, including the coordination of fixture samples, material mock-ups, and vendor logistics
• Organize and facilitate project meetings; capture meeting notes, follow up on action items, and maintain ongoing status updates
• Help track budgets, process invoices, and coordinate with procurement and finance teams for material orders and vendor payments
• Maintain project documentation and ensure key files (CADs, renderings, fixture specs, testing results) are updated and accessible to stakeholders
• Coordinate logistics for onsite reviews, prototype builds, and testing environments in partnership with internal teams and external partners
• Support the communication and documentation of pilot learnings, test results, and rollout recommendations
• Assist with administrative and operational tasks to help the team stay organized and project timelines stay on track
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree with typically 2 years of related experience or Master’s degree without experience or typically 6 years of relevant experience without degree.
• Must have a high degree of reliability, including accountability for fixture orders and meeting tight timelines
• Ability to develop collaborative relationships across teams and organization
• Proficiency in use of Sketch Up, Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, and other modeling software
• Proven ability to understand and review technical drawings and details
• Ability to read construction documents
• Knowledge and interest in trends influencing design in general, including retail, graphic design, in-store experiences, athletics, and fashion a plus
• Time management, prioritization, and strong communication skills are essential
• Able to lead work groups which include vendors, manufacturers, general contractors and Under Armour leadership
WORKPLACE LOCATION
• Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our Baltimore office.
• Work Schedule: This role follows a hybrid work schedule, requiring 3 days in-office per week through September 5, 2025. Beginning September 8, 2025, the in-office requirement will increase to 4 days per week.
Base Compensation
$63,123.20 - $86,794.40 USD
Most new hires fall within this range and have the opportunity to earn more over time. Initial placement within the salary range, however, is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills and experience for the position. UA is committed to helping our teammates succeed and advance in their careers. Base salary is only one component of our competitive Total Rewards package.
