Position Summary

The Sr. Vice President, Direct to Consumer will be responsible for enhancing and delivering UA’s strategy for DTC, creating a world-class retail and digital shopping experience for the UA consumer 
throughout the Americas Region. Reporting to the President, Americas and serving as a member of the Americas Leadership Team, this leader will own the business results within the retail and eCommerce revenue channels. As the Sr. Vice President of the Americas DTC organization, this leader will have oversight of the physical Retail Fleet, DTC Operations, Real Estate, Visual Merchandising and ECommerce Operations (UA owned and 3rd Party).
 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

•    Develop and drive the DTC strategy for Americas Region leveraging our website, mobile platforms, and retail stores and the connectivity for the consumer across all channels
•    Utilize knowledge of establishing and operating DTC businesses to identify, recommend and execute strategies to further elevate our market position within the Americas Region
•    Build cross-functional relationships with Marketing, Merchandising, Inventory Planning, HR, and FP&A teams within the Americas Region to ensure alignment across DTC initiatives
•    Collaborate with Global Brand, Product, and Digital teams to develop vision and strategy for consumer experiences, ensuring alignment between Brand and Commercial priorities
•    Develop and implement regional omnichannel capabilities that reflect the priorities through our athlete’s journey. 
•    Drive regional 3rd party eCommerce businesses (e.g., wholesale partner experiences)
•    Provide regular communication to executive leadership on progress against financial plan and strategic objectives
•    Drive change by fostering a winning culture that elevates business performance while driving teammate engagement
•    Lead with Under Armour’s purpose, mission, vision, and values - place these tenets at the core of all decisions to empower long term sustainable growth 
•    Make data driven decisions while constantly testing and learning. Ensure teams are consistently providing post-program ROI analysis paired with consumer insights to make recommendations to increase sales and drive a premium brand experience
•    Accountable for Financial performance and P&L of the Americas DTC business
•    Ensure consistent execution of merchandise presentation, sales, and operational standards
•    Communicating strategy and inspiring commitment across the DTC organization (corporate and field teams) to continuously create alignment on brand strategy, vision, and athlete experience
•    Develop talent within the organization to help elevate our DTC capabilities
•    Implement new strategies and execute current plans to generate and grow

Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)

•    Shows visionary thinking and demonstrates expert knowledge to solve complex, organization-wide, or externally facing issues 
•    Experience overseeing both retail and digital functions
•    Strong relationship and consensus building skills 
•    Excellent strategic planning skills 
•    Track record of hiring, leading, and training high-performing teams 
•    Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively present to Executive Leadership team 
•    Ability to lead and inspire large diverse teams across a wide geographical region 
•    Strong organizational and project management skills 
•    Highly passionate, problem solver with strong creative and analytical skills
•    Comfortable navigating competing initiatives and strategically prioritizing
•    Experience managing growth and overseeing new store openings 
 

Education And / Or Experience

•    Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 20 years of professional experience with 12-15 retail and digital commerce experience
•     Master’s degree with 15 years of related experience 
•    24 years of related work experience with no degree
•    12 + years of management experience; 10+ years as Senior level manager leading high level managers in strategy, scope, and implementation
 

Other Requirements

•    Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our global headquarters in Baltimore, MD. Relocation will be fully funded by the company.
•    Return To Work Designation: 3 days a week in-office, the remainder of work week remote. 
•    Travel: 25% - 50% of the time
