Purpose of Role

The Sr. Director of Regional Merchandising and Pricing is entrusted with spearheading the regional merchandising strategy and execution for our most critical market, the Americas region. This pivotal role is dedicated to optimizing assortment and pricing strategies to meet the diverse needs of our consumer base. Key responsibilities include crafting consumer-centric, brand-enhancing, and profitable assortments to drive sales objectives. The position demands an astute understanding of consumer behavior, market trends, and competitive dynamics to maximize our assortment in the marketplace. This influential leader will partner cross-functionally to develop robust growth plans by category and channel, identifying and seizing market opportunities to ensure sustained growth and elevated brand presence.

Your Impact

Strategic Planning and Execution
•    Develop and execute regional category strategies in partnership with Global Category GMs, aligning with financial goals and seasonal plans.
•    Implement regional merchandising and pricing strategies to support the brand vision and business objectives, including lifecycle and franchise plans.
•    Identify and drive growth opportunities by analyzing market trends, consumer insights, and competitive landscape to expand market share and enhance brand presence.

 

Segmentation, Marketplace Management, and Merchandising Execution
•    Oversee the execution of brand-enhancing and profitable assortments across all categories and divisions to maximize sales and drive productivity.
•    Develop and implement consumer-centric segmentation and exclusivity strategies to maximize the regional assortment within the marketplace.
•    Collaborate with Channel Merchandising to create and scale plans for new distribution channels, utilizing long-range channel plans to shape global line architecture.
•    Oversee Team merchandising across the marketplace and drive the Team channel strategies through execution. 

 

Storytelling & Go-to-Market (GTM)
•    Champion improvements to the GTM process and optimize milestones to ensure holistic delivery of complete product, story, and distribution plan packages.
•    Collaborate cross-functionally to build robust GTM activation plans for key innovations, franchises, and product launches. Partner with Channel teams to ensure consistent and impactful execution in-store and online.
•    Collaborate with Marketing on a holistic regional calendar to drive a consistent cadence of newness and energy, leveraging sports and cultural moments.

 

Pricing Strategy and Management
•    Define and implement initial ticket price strategies that align with market conditions and business goals.
•    Monitor pricing performance, competitive shifts, and macro trends, adjusting strategies as needed to respond to market changes.
•    Oversee regional promotional plans and ensure they are effectively leveraged.

 

Performance Monitoring and Reporting
•    Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of merchandising and pricing strategies.
•    Review and analyze performance, market and consumer data: Provide insights and recommendations for continuous assortment optimization and in-season strategic actions.

 

Team Leadership and Development
•    Manage and mentor a team of Merchants, fostering a high-performance, growth-oriented culture in alignment with regional goals.
•    Provide guidance, support, and inspiration to team members, promoting professional growth and development.
 

Qualifications

•    Ability to lead & influence cross-functional partners through strong and proven relationships
•    Ability to coach & inspire their direct and extended Merchandising teammates 
•    Consummate collaborator, effective communicator, consensus-builder and influencer
•    Strong analytical and conceptual skills 
•    Minimum of 10 years relevant merchandising experience in a fast-paced, product-oriented, consumer-driven company, demonstrating proven career growth and increased responsibility; 6+ years as management experience leading high level managers
•    Experience with a variety of go-to market models (wholesale, direct-to-consumer, retail, digital, etc.) in a matrixed organization 
•    Track record of successfully motivating, collaborating with & influencing functional & cross functional teammates across all levels of the organization (leadership, to peers to entry level) 
•    Driven by intellectual curiosity, passionate about success, and driving a growth-oriented culture.
•    Track record of leading and managing teams through processes and change across a highly matrixed organization


 

Workplace Location

  • Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our Baltimore office.
  • Work Schedule: This role follows a hybrid work schedule, requiring 3 days in-office per week through September 5, 2025. Beginning September 8, 2025, the in-office requirement will increase to 4 days per week.

Base Compensation

 

 $225,729.00 - $310,377.10 USD

Most new hires fall within this range and have the opportunity to earn more over time. Initial placement within the salary range, however, is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills and experience for the position.
