Purpose of Role

The Senior Lead, Business Planning plays a primary role in the strategic planning process and managing operations for the Global Supply Chain organization. They will lead the GSC leadership operating rhythm, and manage the strategic planning process, helping define and implement strategic plans in support of the GSC vision and strategy. They will lead assigned enterprise and functional initiatives and support development of benchmarks and metrics to baseline capability maturity, evaluate progress, and measure success. They must collaborate closely with stakeholders across the organization to ensure efficient execution and continuously deliver results.

Your Impact

  • Develop and lead effective GSC leadership operating rhythm. Mobilize teams across GSC to understand and align on business initiatives. Set teams’ prioritization on activities, key events, and deadlines; facilitate alignment of the extended leadership team resources to meet those objectives.
  • Coordinate and manage annual strategic planning process for Global Supply Chain, driving the development and implementation of the Long-Range Plan 
  • Is responsible for directing the preparation, review, and consolidation of the Annual Operating Plan, leading to strategically aligned goals and KPIs
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives end-to-end, with ability to connect dots throughout organization, and influence key decisions
  • Track and analyze KPIs to measure the success of business initiatives and identify areas for improvement
  • Provide strong problem-solving leadership related to shaping strategic focus to drive initiative execution across the Global Supply Chain organization
  • Maintain strong organizational awareness, knowledge of business priorities, and ability to anticipate leadership and organizational needs
  • Drive and facilitate effective collaboration and communications across the organization to ensure appropriate visibility, alignment, and coordination against business priorities
  • Develop executive communications, synthesizing complex information into compelling presentations designed to educate and empower senior leadership to drive strategic decisions, tailored appropriately for internal, external, ELT audiences
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis and market research in support of strategic initiatives
  • May be responsible for developing & managing industry partner relationships 
  • Regularly engage with key stakeholders across Global Supply Chain and enterprise Leadership

Qualifications

  • Minimally 8 years of supply chain or related business experience
  • Previous strategy management or consulting experience preferred
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master’s degree desirable
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, always-changing, entrepreneurial environment
  • Broad business experience driving execution and adoption of key strategic programs across large teams
  • Proven ability to develop and lead the implementation of strategy, policy, and operational plans, to a successful outcome
  • Project management skills and experience, with an ability to lead diverse teams and drive open items to effective resolution
  • Ability to work in a flexible manner in line with the organization’s objectives and willingness to undertake other duties as reasonably requested; self-directed and intellectually curious
  • Strong relationship-building, facilitation, and influencing skills; ability to build trust and influence at all levels of the organization, and accomplish goals through formal and informal networks
  • Ability to think and act creatively and accepts challenges, championing and promoting new ideas that contribute to the goals of the organization and the department
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate and influence cross-functionally at all levels
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and executive presence; leads with positive energy and highly organized
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on structure and execution in a dynamic environment
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools a plus

Workplace Location

Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our Baltimore, Maryland office.

Return to Work Designation: Three (3) days week in-office, the remainder of work week remote.

Base Compensation

 $133,508.00 - $183,573.50 USD

Most new hires fall within this range and have the opportunity to earn more over time. Initial placement within the salary range, however, is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills and experience for the position.
