Purpose of Role
The Sr. Lead, Digital Commerce Operations is responsible for driving the digital commerce operating model and leading a targeted set of highly complex, visible cross-functional initiatives across the digital ecosystem. Operating at the intersection of Technology, Creative, Marketing, and Commercial teams, this role translates strategy into execution through clear project plans, operating rhythms, and governance. It ensures alignment to commercial priorities, delivers operational efficiency, and drives visibility, accountability, and execution against Long-Range Plan (LRP) revenue goals.
Your Impact
• Lead and evolve Digital Commerce Operations through efficient, scalable processes and clearly defined roles, responsibilities, and decision rights aligned with key partners including Technology, Creative, Go-To-Market, Marketing, Operations and Commercial partners, ensuring alignment to revenue priorities.
• Own the digital commerce operating model, including operating rhythms, milestone governance, and launch readiness across UA.com and the App, with clear linkage to commercial goals and LRP delivery.
• Lead a portfolio of highly complex, cross-functional and transformative initiatives that advance digital commerce priorities and enable achievement of Long-Range Plan (LRP) revenue targets.
• Translate commercial strategy into clear execution plans, roadmaps, and RACI models that drive accountability, speed, and measurable business outcomes.
• Partner with Analytics to establish and maintain actionable KPIs and operating dashboards that provide visibility into execution health, business performance, and progress against revenue goals.
• Identify and deliver opportunities to optimize end-to-end workflows across the digital commerce ecosystem by leveraging process improvement and technology enablement to support revenue growth.
• Partner with Finance on AOP/LRP planning, scenario analysis, and investment prioritization, ensuring alignment of resources to highest-impact revenue opportunities.
• Champion continuous improvement by simplifying processes, governance, and ways of working to increase speed, clarity, impact, and delivery against commercial objectives.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree with typically 10 years of relevant experience OR Master's degree with typically 8 years of relevant experience OR Typically 14 years of relevant experience without degree
• Typically 3 - 5 years of management experience; or equivalent experience as the subject matter lead or expert in area of expertise.
• 7–10 years of experience in digital commerce operations, program delivery, project management, strategic execution or related roles.
• Proven experience designing and implementing operating models, execution rigor, and driving complex cross-functional initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
• Skilled in setting KPIs, analyzing operational and digital data, and using insights to drive decisions and improvements.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills. Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and translate feedback into scalable, business-aligned solutions.
• Proven ability to influence across levels and functions without formal authority, aligning stakeholders and driving decisions and outcomes in a matrixed environment.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and complexity; able to create structure and momentum.
• Experience partnering closely with Technology and Creative teams; working knowledge of agile delivery, CMS, analytics, and PM tooling is a plus.
Workplace Location
- Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our Baltimore office.
- Work Schedule: This role follows a hybrid work schedule, requiring 4 days in-office per week.

Base Compensation
$140,000.00-$170,000.00 USD
Most new hires fall within this range and have the opportunity to earn more over time. Initial placement within the salary range, however, is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills and experience for the position. UA is committed to helping our teammates succeed and advance in their careers. Base salary is only one component of our competitive Total Rewards package.
