Purpose of Role

Under Armour needs a single, executive-grade view of truth—and a mechanism to translate strategy into action at speed. To enable this, we are searching for a uniquely skilled Senior Lead, Executive Insights & Analytics to join our Business Performance and Transformation team within our global Finance organization. This role is the insights engine for the CFO org and a trusted advisor to the CEO/ELT: turning DTC & Wholesale signals into a crisp story and next-best actions that drive accountability across commercial and functional teams.

Your Impact

  • Executive Analytics Rhythm: Lead recurring reporting cycles, including EIB (daily/weekly) updates and CEO/CFO deep dives (monthly/quarterly).
  • Storytelling & Actioning: Distill complex data into 3–5 clear, decisive actions, complete with owners, timelines, and metrics.
  • Analytics Cockpit: Design and manage the executive Tableau portfolio, ensuring clarity and trust in reported numbers
  • KPI Governance: Align KPI definitions, targets, and diagnostics in partnership with Finance and EDMA (Enterprise Data Management and Analytics) team
  • Early-Warning & Root Cause: Monitor anomalies, perform driver analyses, recommend countermeasures, and ensure follow-through
  • Test & Learn: Collaborate with Digital and Brand teams on experiment design, measurement of incrementality, and reporting
  • Coaching & Standards: Mentor analysts on data visualization, SQL best practices, and effective storytelling.
  • Collaboration with EDMA (Partnership Model) EDMA: Owns data architecture, ingestion, modeling (Snowflake/dbt), lineage, quality, access, platform reliability, and output delivery.
  • This Role (Business Performance & Trsansformation): Owns business questions, KPI canon, executive narratives, decision frameworks, and action tracking. Co-prioritizes data/BI work with EDMA and co-owns delivery.
  • Ways of Working: Shared backlog, two-week sprint cadence, data quality SLAs, change tickets for metric updates, co-ownership of the Data Issues Register, and EDMA review for model changes before executive use.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years analytics/BI/strategy with 3+ years CEO/ELT-facing delivery
  • Retail/consumer/omnichannel fluency: DTC funnels, wholesale sell-in/sell-through, pricing/promo, returns, inventory/OTIF, P&L mechanics
  • Elite synthesis & judgment: board-ready narratives; clear trade-off reasoning; action bias
  • Expert SQL + Snowflake; strong Tableau craftsmanship (exec-grade dashboards); Preferred experience, but not required: dbt, Python (pandas), experimentation/causal methods, Adobe/GA, Salesforce
  • Data governance literacy (lineage, DQ rules, metric contracts).
  • Player-coach who can borrow teams through influence and still write the query/build the view.
  • Systems thinker with operator’s cadence; high discretion, speed, and clarity.

Workplace Location

  • Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our HQ (Baltimore, MD) office.
  • Work Schedule: Beginning September 8, 2025, the in-office requirement will increase to 4 days per week. 
  • Travel: 5-10% annually

Base Compensation

 

 $119,419.20 - $164,201.40 USD

Most new hires fall within this range and have the opportunity to earn more over time. Initial placement within the salary range, however, is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills and experience for the position.
