Purpose of Role
The Sr. Manager, Regional Merchandising – Apparel, owns the development of comprehensive category merchandising strategies tailored to the respective regional channel businesses. This role has a strategic emphasis on Men’s Apparel; particularly in cultivating growth among key categories. You'll play a pivotal role in advancing Under Armour's presence through targeted merchandising strategies tailored to regional priorities. This Sr. Manager serves as an expert in the respective gender, categories, and trends within the region. This includes creating line plans to meet consumer and account needs while ensuring alignment with financial goals and growth opportunities. The Sr. Merchant works cross-functionally throughout UA to inspire a collaborative and supportive
operating environment and be a consensus-builder who drives results.
Your Impact
• Lead the development of a comprehensive long-term merchandising strategy for the respective business.
• Develop and establish line architectures that meet regional requirements and align with financial targets and regional growth opportunities.
• Drive SKU productivity and efficiency improvements across the respective business.
• Manage marketplace operations by implementing segmentation and exclusivity strategies aligned with channel and business objectives.
• Collaborate with Channel Merchandising and Product Teams to identify new growth opportunities and revenue streams.
• Support Go-to-Market initiatives in partnership with Marketing, including seasonal storytelling, investment priorities, and product launches.
• Conduct post-mortem analyses to track market shifts and evaluate performance metrics, enabling agile responses to business trends.
• Present category/gender business results at cross-functional meetings, fostering consensus and relationships with key partners.
• Build Consensus and Relationships with Cross-Functional Partners and act as a dynamic change agent, thought-leader, and connector to drive Merchandising excellence at UA.
• Lead and mentor a high-preforming team to promote a culture of collaboration, innovation, and trust.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree with typically 10 years of relevant experience or Master's degree with typically 8 years of relevant experience or typically 14 years of relevant experience without degree.
• Typically 3 - 5 years of management experience; or equivalent experience as the subject matter lead or expert in area of expertise.
• Demonstrated track record of leadership in merchandising and business growth.
• Proven ability to develop profitable merchandising strategies and collaborate effectively across internal teams.
• Strong leadership and mentorship skills, fostering a collaborative environment that drives outstanding results.
• Decisive and resolute in decision-making, even in ambiguous situations.
Workplace Location
- Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our Baltimore office.
- Work Schedule: This role follows a hybrid work schedule, requiring 3 days in-office per week through September 5, 2025. Beginning September 8, 2025, the in-office requirement will increase to 4 days per week.

Base Compensation
$132,906.40 - $182,746.30 USD
Most new hires fall within this range and have the opportunity to earn more over time. Initial placement within the salary range, however, is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills and experience for the position.
