Purpose of Role

The Sr. Product Line Manager, Apparel -  Sportswear will drive the product creation process for the Sportswear Apparel business. You'll be responsible for developing a complete product line, grounded in a deep understanding of the consumer, culture, marketplace, and trend. Passion, commitment, creativity, curiosity, collaboration and integrity are key traits to success in this role. You'll communicate a vision for the business; working closely with your Director and cross functional partners in Design, Innovation, and Product Development to create a complete and cohesive product line. Additionally, you will lead team excellence with your strong communication skills and ability to collaborate cross functionally. You will be responsible for overseeing and/or presenting the line or specific products to internal and external audiences. 

Your Impact

•    Build and manage the Sportswear Apparel line – inclusive of Retail/Inline, Teamwear - from concept to commercialization
•    Lead the Product Creation process with Design, Innovation, Product Development and Sourcing to hit overall seasonal dates
•    Drive communication with the sourcing and materials teams with ultimate accountability for margin targets and on time commercialization
•    Be the Sportswear expert. Research and apply insights from athlete feedback, fit & wear test results, market & competitive trends to ensure UA is building market leading product across multiple end-uses, genders and regions
•    In partnership with Merchandising, conduct market and competitive analysis to be the expert on the latest innovations, materials, price points, and construction methods to identify brand right opportunities to maintain a competitive edge
•    Partner with Global Merchandising on creation of design brief, with final accountability for the product brief
•    As the Sportswear Apparel expert, build and present exceptional product strategies and selling tools to support the category vision through the GTM (go-to-market) process

Qualifications

•    Bachelor's degree with typically 10 years of relevant experience or Master's degree with typically 8 years of relevant experience or typically 14 years of relevant experience without degree
•    Ability to influence cross-functional partners through strong and proven relationships
•    Customer Service orientation, problem solver, obsessed with quality. Team Player Attitude.
•    Ability to communicate product strategies verbally and in writing
•    Strong presentation, time management, collaboration, communication and influencing skills
•    Proven experience in leading and managing a direct report

Workplace Location

•    Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our Baltimore office.
•    Work Schedule: This role follows a hybrid work schedule, requiring 3 days in-office per week through September 5, 2025. Beginning September 8, 2025, the in-office requirement will increase to 4 days per week.

Base Compensation

 $141,028.96 - $193,914.83 USD

Most new hires fall within this range and have the opportunity to earn more over time. Initial placement within the salary range, however, is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills and experience for the position.
