Purpose of Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Sr. Planner, Retail Store Planning and In-Season Manager to join our Direct-to-Consumer Inventory & Sizing organization. In this role, you will help shape a new store-planning capability focused on putting the right product and inventory in the right stores to better serve the athlete and drive the business. You will turn store performance, consumer demand and local-market insights into clear recommendations for how product breadth, depth and mix should flex across our retail fleet. This role will partner closely across Planning, Merchandising, Retail Operations, Visual Merchandising, Retail Inventory & Strategy, Allocation and Sizing to connect insight to action. Passion, curiosity, intrinsic drive and a team-first mindset are traits we look for in our teammates, and you will play an important role in building a more localized, consumer-led and productive DTC business at Under Armour.

Your Impact

•    Own the store-planning rhythm, using door- and tier-level performance to identify where we have opportunities to improve productivity, product mix and inventory depth.
•    Evaluate store clusters, tiers and segmentation through the lens of productivity, consumer behavior, climate, location, format and capacity; recommend changes when the data points to a better approach.
•    Identify product and inventory opportunities where demand is not fully supported or where breadth, depth or space can work harder for the business.
•    Develop recommendations for how category, gender, franchise, price point, color, product breadth and inventory depth should flex across stores and markets.
•    Bring store-level hindsight, current trends and local-market insights into future-season planning and in-season management conversations.
•    Lead localized store tests with clear hypotheses and success measures; translate results into actionable future recommendations.
•    Create a consistent feedback loop with Retail Operations and the Retail Field Team, validating opportunities with data and closing the loop on actions and outcomes.
•    Build clear, scalable reporting that highlights store productivity, localization opportunities, risks and actions.
•    Partner across Planning, Merchandising, Visual Merchandising, and Allocation to align recommendations and drive the right business action.
•    Use strong storytelling and influence to turn complex analysis into clear recommendations for cross-functional partners and senior leaders.

Qualifications

•    Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Merchandising, Economics, Supply Chain, Analytics or a related field, or equivalent experience.
•    3+ years of experience in retail planning, store planning, merchandise or assortment planning, allocation, inventory planning, buying or retail analytics.
•    Excellent communication, collaboration, and influencing skills with a team-first mindset.
•    Strong analytical and retail-math skills, including productivity, sell-through, margin, turn, weeks of supply, breadth, depth and mix analysis.
•    Ability to turn large, complex data sets into clear insights and actionable recommendations.
•    Strong presentation and storytelling skills with the ability to simplify complex information for different audiences.
•    Comfort working through ambiguity, challenging the status quo and creating scalable tools and processes.
•    Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; experience with Power BI, Tableau, Snowflake, SAP or similar tools is preferred.
•    Working knowledge of store segmentation, localization, inventory planning and direct to consumer retail operations.
